Man fraudulently used woman’s credit card to buy bitcoin
Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 33-year-old company employee for fraudulently using a another person’s credit card to purcahse the bitcoin virtual currency, reports TV Asahi (Nov. 3).
In January, Ryota Fujii, 33, allegedly used a credit card and photograph of a driver’s license of a woman in Shizuoka Prefecture to purchase 600,000 yen in bitcoins and establish an account in that person’s name.

The man did the right thing. He made a solid financial investment. The woman would have squandered the money anyway on overpriced costume jewelry and perfume... :D

The story shows how common and relatively easy credit card fraud is. The privacy invasive ID requirements for every lolly you buy are not improving security. Instead the people that in the past were satisfied with stealing your money are now discovering the unlimited opportunities of identity theft.

The crime also shows that Bitcoin has become a real currency with solid demand from all professions. :D

Bitcoin is already the go to coin for every crooks and criminals around the world and there is a solid demand from all folks of life ,be it drug dealer or illegal arms dealer ,everyone will be using one form of crypto currency.

The crime was done in January. Price of Bitcoin was $430.
Now it is hovering around $730. He can offer to pay the women 1.5 times of what was stolen.  :P

It's true the man can pay back now, but that does not justify the theft in the first instance.

Bitcoin is already the go to coin for every crooks and criminals around the world and there is a solid demand from all folks of life ,be it drug dealer or illegal arms dealer ,everyone will be using one form of crypto currency.

What the hell? Ever heard of XMR!? That's what criminals are using haha. Why would criminals use bitcoins if every transaction you ever do can be tracked on the Blockchain?

I'm sure the big credit card companies are going to be passed when someone buys an irreversible currency and they're liable for it.
