The story shows how common and relatively easy credit card fraud is. The privacy invasive ID requirements for every lolly you buy are not improving security. Instead the people that in the past were satisfied with stealing your money are now discovering the unlimited opportunities of identity theft. The crime also shows that Bitcoin has become a real currency with solid demand from all professions. :D ya.ya.yo! Price of Bitcoin was $430. Now it is hovering around $730. What the hell? Ever heard of XMR!? That's what criminals are using haha. Why would criminals use bitcoins if every transaction you ever do can be tracked on the Blockchain? I'm sure the big credit card companies are going to be passed when someone buys an irreversible currency and they're liable for it. |
