As always, take advantage of every price dip whatever the reason why bitcoin price drops suddenly although you can consider those news or factors circulating around as a reference. Others take profit also to take ride of the price decrease. So now better be ready some ammos to be load up.

It's usual so nothing to be worried about. No way the price will goes up directly to other's desired price target so I don't get others why they are pissed off with the sudden drop.

It's pretty predictable that governments will try to fight against bitcoin and will try to crush the price, but it will eventually go higher than the sky, specially when governments remove cash.

Logged in and already bought few cheap under $700 priced bitcoin, this was nice dip to grab some cheap coins now correction seems already over and we may head to $750 again.  ;) ;D

I secured profits up to $735 today, and bought some back at $685, but it's because I am trader. If you just buy your coins with the intention to hold them for the long term, then you should have done your buying far below the current levels. Even though the price has gone down now, it's still quite high to be honest.

I wouldn't be suprised to see it go down more. That's exactly why I haven't bought back everything yet. Don't forget that as long as you don't sell your coins at a loss, you have not lost anything. Just keep holding and try to buy yourself some more coins on the way down in order to lower your average buying price. It's the best solution.

When people start talking about cheap coins, you know there's more downside to come  ;D

Well let's hope this is just a dip and not a dump.... I would like to check if this was only happening on the Chinese exchanges or if they were

the trigger for other exchanges globally to follow. The rumours of a Chinese Bitcoin Ban started this mini dump, because I cannot see what

other negative news was posted on English forums. It just shows you how much influence they have on the price.  ???

Dumpers will cry eventually, sooner or later the price will recover and the china government will pay by trying to interrupt human evolution. Bitcoin cannot be stopped.

$700 for a Bitcoin is reasonable, but might dip by Christmas. You can't eat or play with a Bitcoin (If you're a child)  :D

Well the weekly chart was showing extreme overbought signs all over the place. I think on Monday I wrote in another thread how this whole week could be a downward move. Now finally it's happening. Although I must admit, I didn't foresee the Chinese regulations. That has got me worried a little.

It is nice moment to buy! This decrease in prices shows how low the price may fall. At this point, we already know that the price gonna be corrected at level of $700, and in the next few days will move up ..

Yupe, make use of this nice dip. Not a bad thing that some people creating FUD, it just giving me the opportunity to buy more bitcoins.

So what do we think, will it continue to drop or swing back up......

right now many have already panicked and many will panic and possibly start dumping or those who don't have won't buy.

then in a couple of days when price is back to $730 and stable they start regretting and next week we will see topics asking why bitcoin price is stuck at $730 and boring :D

this has been the story ever since price was $200

It shows just how quicklyu the community panics as soon as any negative news is heard, The price tanked from this false information in a few hours. It shows weve got a long way to go for mass adoption. It was probably only a few whales or the publisher of the article that dumped a few thousand coins, enough to slightly crash the market by a small amount.

I don't think it is a good time to buy BTC now, as China is the biggest market of BTC, so the price might drop even further if china user are dumping hard.

you should have bought before the rise back in the days of cheaper bitcoin price of $600 and not now.

right now you only take risks and try to find the dips to buy in like the latest dip below 700 level and then sell above it to do it again and again as a day trader, if you are not a day trader then there is no need to ask buy and hold!

All the weak hands seem to have already shorted their bitcoins for loss and right now whales are trying to buy all remaining cheap coins slowly before making another wave of price pump. I think current price is good to buy at.

China or whatever was the reason i thank it/them for this last dip, because i sold some on top and wanted to buy and this dip was THE opportunity that i was waiting for and when i saw my orders were filled i was thrilled and i now have more bitcoin in my wallet.

almost all of the price rise in bitcoin was due to the help from china and all of the mining activities is done in china so they do have the influence in the market,if there is any restrictions in china ,it is really hard for the price to reach $1000 .

no one know, but i was saying to no hold your breath there might be more chance for more cheaper coins than what you are buying now, but for me i think the price will not go under 600 again, i would consider buying above that point, secure enough

even for the pro don't know how much the price will go. but i think, for now, the price is really down too far and like you bro, i am hoping that the same as you. but we don't know what will happen in middle of november until christmas and new year. i hope the price is going up again.

Everyone is predicting higher price at the end of the year and price has gone down at a moment so I think this would be the right time to buy some extra coins and hold it till the end of the year as I don't think it will go to $600 level at this stage in fact it will keep on playing around $700 level.

When there's blood in the streets BUY. There are always good opportunities to take from bad situations ;)

I'm in for the long haul. Just bought a decent amount of coin to keep me going at least until this time next year  ;)

IMHO, at some point, I think every drops/bad news came out for bitcoin is the last chance for us to buy at good/cheap rate.

Once the price increases, we will never see that low price again and certain price will become the standard price for bitcoin, then it repeat the whole big drop and rise after few months or so.

Some people are just jealous that they didn't buy or sold all their bitcoins then go creating FUD or spreading negative thoughts about bitcoins. Let me tell you what, stop being a pussy or a cry baby. If you want to share some bad news about bitcoins, fine, at least show us some legit news or constructive opinions.

It is true that when ever their is a dip it is always good for buying and when ever their is a rise in price it is to sell what you buyed for trading. This way you can trade and increase your bitcoin bankroll and the buying price is also gets decreased

How did you know that it would happen?  Are you a good future predictor?  Maybe your thoughs have basis but we can't take out the fact  that price jumps faster and also dumps faster, so for that way we cannot really tell wich way will bitcoins path goes but as for now we should enjoy the great continously rally for bitcoins,  although theres little down but still surely price still climbing as season of this one is also on the peak maybe we can reach to 800$ in the next month.

It's never the last chance to buy at a certain price level. Bitcoin has proven to go below each level where people were thinking it was impossible to do so. Regarding the current China FUD, it got the price down to $670, but even that is not really something I consider to be a low price.


Why would whales do so? If rumors/FUD without any possibility of being real can trigger massive sell-offs, why would they change their strategy? It works, and they make millions of profits each year.

Very true,  and  im  thinking the same thing too  because   china  really  plays a big role  on  bitcoins  ecosystem  and  now its policies  would really affect bitcoins price and we  would surely  have a  hard time to reach  $1k price same as you mentioned.

i was hoping for a dip to buy because i have sold some of my coins after the initial rise and the dip was the best thing that could have happened because i was expecting a drop but not to below 700 :D

700 is nothing and I don't see it dipping below that mark any further.
With the turmoil in the richest nations (China and USA) right now I can see bitcoin going only up from here from no on into the new year. ;)

The price of bitcoin is almost $700 and for me it is not at all a good time to invest ,what scares me is the volatility and the reaction the price has on hearing rumors but this market might be a good space for day traders who are trying to earn with every lows and highs

After a  few days of increase, the price is again on a retreat.
It has dipped below $700 now and the trend seems to be downward. Day traders who got the trend right would have made good money.

Price seem to have got few more correction and it is below $700 (around 690 right now) which is even bargain price to buy. Anything below $800 per bitcoin is good price to buy bitcoin right now.

yup its a good time for me to buy some satoshi and hold it. i am not predict that the price will go for lower than now but its really makes me curious how much will go low later.

Even if there is a drop I doubt it will go below $650.
Still I'm glad I put all my BTC into alt-coins when it was around the $725 mark.

I still think we will hit $750 sometime in 2017.

Thats kinda how im thinking but for the top end of the range im seeing about previous $790 this year maybe ATHs it just depends when the move wants to start though. Could be we are level with no action until new year.

Chances for this to happen are slim, but not impossible. I personally think that we'll come very close to $670 where after that we'll slowly see the price hovering up towards the $700. These movements will most likely repeat for the rest of this year.


So you don't have a single Satoshi right now? I find that really hard to believe. I know people like to diversify their portfolio where a certain part of their BTC goes into altcoins, but I haven't seen anyone so far going all in on altcoins. May I know what altcoins you have chosen, and at what price you opened your positions?


If we don't experience any more drama from "hacked" exchanges, then we can go even higher than $800 in 2017, but we can't rely on this as it is just speculation.

If you invested in all altcoins you'd still come out worse vs bitcoin gains overall for anything other than short term due to so many new alts being created all the time - they aren't rare.  You also have much more managing to do with altcoins.  Generally unless you have trading skills its best to stick with original.
