Title: Steam Shop that accepts altcoin Post by: PremiumCodeX on November 03, 2016, 09:22:05 PM Hello!
Do you know about any good shop that sells Steam games for altcoin? I know that Steam adapted BTC and I can buy games on Steam for BTC, but I am looking for a place where I can buy games directly for the altcoin that I mined without having to exchange. And we have to give a big thank you to valve for accepting bitcoin. Title: Re: Steam Shop that accepts altcoin Post by: JeffBrad12 on November 04, 2016, 02:13:20 AM Hello! No one. Alt is not familiar with a lot of people, the demand gets a divide in some the kind of coin. but what the kind of your altcoins? just one example since ETH are becoming big platform but I never believe over 100 stores accepts them. right above me's said, trade your alt buying some bitcoin and buying your interesting games from them. I dont hear any shops that do accept altcoins regarding on purchasing steam games. As we all know that bitcoin is the only one been adopted by some countries because its already reputable to make transactions with it but in other altcoins i guess its not available yet. Same as yours i do purchase game credits and steam games directly from steam which is a really convenience for me. Better to change your altcoins to bitcoin value and use it directly again to steam. So far you cannot really buy steam items/games using altcoins since i think they are only accepting bitcoins for now, and also i didn't see any 3rd party sites offering that, so for now you really need to convert your alt to bitcoin if you want to buy on that site, altcoins are not being trusted by them at the first place since alts are not really trustable interms of stability. Title: Re: Steam Shop that accepts altcoin Post by: Emerge on November 05, 2016, 01:01:21 PM You can always use Shifty by Shapeshift.io to use the altcoins you mined to deposit into Steam..

I know other people here are obviously going to tell you to use an exchange, obviously you also knew that as you have already stated it. I actually understand your need to use altcoin as I feel exactly the same as you do. Noone yet has made this suggestion yet so I will. Ok so we know we cannot buy steam games directly off steam nor can we buy then off vendors since they only offer bitcoin. So what do we do ? We buy steam top up cars whatever they called from a market. There is a market that is exclusively doge coin. I forgot the name but I am sure you could find it using google. Also you could ask vendors if they would be willing to accept bitcoin. There are also some people here that sell steam games and stuff, ask them if they accept alts, I know some do. But what alt are your talking about specifically ? Otherwise if all else fails it's to the exchange with you ;) |
