how about some you know actual speculation::

If you are a trader then letting people make speculation threads should be encouraged. It will show you what the current mood of the market is more or less. Before the sell down it was crossing the border to mania with some people starting to predict another all time how with predictions that reach $3000. For the very long term it might be possible, but in reality with the current state of the Bitcoin economy a real, non-speculative price of $3000 is not possible right now. Reaching that price in 2017 will surely be another bubble waiting to pop.

How much speculation can have effect on actual bitcoin trading was shown yesterday when news regarding china going to tighten bitcoin trading come out and within few hour people got panic and sold all they have within few hours. But the speculation in opposite direction that this may be only hoax and couldn't be true makes price to bounce back again. I think role of speculation is very high as this gives current market/traders sentiment.

$3000 could be reached at the drop of a hat. In Bitcoin, you never know. If Bitcoin gets integrated with the stock/forex exchange and everyone can suddenly buy it with their broker, it might go to $10,000+

Speculation about the bitcoin price like about your assumption about the bitcoin price in the market for upcoming days by finding with the current value. It may come truth or it may not. Nothing will affects the bitcoin. To say frankly its like how we are getting the weather forecast in our city by forecast analyzer.

In reality no one really knows on how much price
Of bitcoin will go and to know when the rally will go or the dump will start since bitcoin is so super unpredictable as.stated, and i think the one who are holding by the speculators is their beliefs and those past experience's, and truly it is not impossible to be happen if good will will hit among these surge, and for you to see just monitor and so by that you can the speculators spectating the pice flow.

Yeah there is no assurance that you can make a good speculation since bitcoin is unpredictable you don't when the price will increase and there is no assurance that the price will increase soon or tomorrow or yesterday.. we are not fortune teller to know it but we are lucky that we are experiencing what experience by the other like 2013. remember that the price hit 1k in few weeks.

One thing that I have in mind is thanksgiving, black friday, cyber monday and those days the bitcoin price will fall a bit down.

This because people will spend their money on the sales that are made always on these days.

Next is the holidays at the end of the year and New year eve which people also spend lots of money and bitcoin price is good if it stay the same as it is now.

No one  really knows  on what  would be the price on next  hour same as you said  we are  not  fortune tellers  that we could able to  know the next price of bitcoin.  Thats why we  all  bitcoin users  do  hope for  price increase  . Just as  expected speculation  are still there   because we  wont  really know the  right  price  movement of bitcoin.

That is making the increase of bitcoins price to stop for sometime because bitcoin is sick of our speculations and no one got it right but only me :D

I knew it that upon that rapid increase, for sure the price is going to stop and gets fall down again. Just like what happened for the past month.

I think that is just normal when there is pump, there is dump.

It won't "lag" because most people are just giving their mood but without any action behind it. At least that's the case for me.
