Title: This seems massive but no one cares? Post by: TroySmith on November 04, 2016, 09:50:32 AM VOCAL app is nearing completion. To me it seems like a massive winner. Imagine podcasters, musicians, and just you and me able to share audio to social media like Twitter etc but when you want you can monetize a song or podcast, plus tipping. No one knows the future by my gut says this could go viral as shit.
Am I an idiot or is this huge cause so far no one seems to be buying? https://mobile.twitter.com/circuitsofvalue/status/794020435788779520 Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? I don't get the current price to potential ratio going on here. I wonder if someone has suppressed for a later pump maybe. On a positive note there are some big buys developing on the buy wall. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? Post by: talkbitcoin on November 04, 2016, 12:09:38 PM i have been seeing lots of these so called "apps" that each do a different thing, they all have big ideas in their heads but they only seem good and never go anywhere.
in my opinion the biggest problem with this type of apps is that they think you need to make a new coin to do something that can already be done with bitcoin so they never succeed. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? Post by: glerant on November 04, 2016, 12:15:53 PM No one knows the future by my gut says this could go viral as shit. Indeed. That's one good reason why you don't want to swim on a beach with a raw sewage outflow. On a serious note, though - VOCAL has to wait until the COVAL moves to the new blockchain and the devs are happy with the development of VOCAL to a degree that they are happy to see it marketed. Until then, those lucky enough to be in 'the know' are in the accumulation phase. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? Post by: freebutcaged on November 04, 2016, 12:27:14 PM I think it's only you who thinks this is a great idea and people should buy into it :)
There are lots of apps with so much more potentials but no one even knows about them. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? I get what your saying but with respect its wrong. There hasn't really been anything like this before, the closest ive seen is Steemit which has 100,000 users already. VOCAL has to have an altcoin to circulate in the sharing community it hopes to create. Also Coval is not just a coin but a platform with actually 2 coins, one traded and one as loyalty. There really is nothing like it out there. Steemit is simply a closed ponzi blog scheme this aims to monetize audio and give value back to music and audio generally. Its works on a much higher level that hey use this crypto to watch this, no it basically uses the blockchain, watermarking etc to make it impossible to listen to a media without paying in a decentralized way be it bitcoin or cash. Think of the incentive for an established artist to release on this platform knowing pirating is virtually impossible. That's my point about it being potentially massive. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? Post by: BitcoinHodler on November 04, 2016, 01:43:34 PM there are only two reasons whenever people don't care about a news that you think is huge.
1) the news is only huge in your mind. which means nobody will ever care and price never moves. 2) the news is huge but investors are not yet accumulated enough so they are keeping it under wraps for now to buy more. for thins you have to take a look at the volumes to see if there is anything going on or not :) Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? I just can't understand the mentality to sell even if the smallest rally starts BUT I can understand someone dumping to themselves to monkey hammer the price. I do believe this is happening now but I don't understand why people put up with it and end up selling cheap, If I had enough BTC I would bluff the crap out of them. If this was highly publicised with an ICO it would be getting 1000 btc at least. I wonder sometimes if the developers are accumulating cause they say they aren't interested in marketing but you got to wonder who benefits the most from that attitude? I'm always interested in the music project based coins, although I remember people talking about 2FLAV coin a lot and i don't think that project has really gone anywhere yet. I'm always interested in the music project based coins, although I remember people talking about 2FLAV coin a lot and i don't think that project has really gone anywhere yet. Its a little complicated as its not some shitcoin but a very developed platform, it actually has two layers. Post by: neochiny on November 04, 2016, 10:07:54 PM Hmm. Okay, so one can either buy or earn COVAL coins by playing some games, trying out some Rapps, and then be able to redeem/buy vouchers/discounts/gifts directly through the VOCAL's Reward side. Then media/e-books/mp3's will be sold.
But, will users be able to sell these or does VOCAL control that? Although my main concern, is if people would even be willing to pay for these digital goods considering all 'free downloads/piracy' going on in the net. I think people are accustomed to being able to get these e-books/mp3's for free. So demand could be low which would, in turn, affect the 'value' of the coin. Not to mention the likely hype and dump. That's really funny, and exactly what I was trying to say. lol. Why pay for it when you could get it for free. Unless it was really unique and popular content, or something you really really want that you couldn't get anywhere else. Like iTunes, and for me especially, e-books on kindle, audiobooks from audible, and the like. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? What if you couldn't get the new JAY Z album without some audio signature running across it. This is the point of the project to bring value back to media online. I wouldn't touch that. Don't see a lot of potential there. Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares? Also without shrilling I think some here misunderstand the project. Vocal is just an example RAPP built by the team to show how Coval can be used in a loyalty platform. Its a sophisticated Loyalty platform which makes Incent look literately like an earlier version of what Coval was as Ribbet Rewards and people are going nuts for the Incent ICO.(they have 5m marketcap as their basic ICO funding goal!) Fact, there is nothing like it out there apart from the Loyyal which is the Platform its all sat on and is also built by the developer of Coval. If people think loyalty isn't a hot area for crypto they would be simply wrong as its a 60 billion dollar industry and crypto and the rewards/points industry fit like a friken glove. And Coval is sat right in the middle of bringing advanced Crypto projects to it. Stay ignorant and stay poor, its your life. https://medium.com/coval/circuits-of-value-8222011ac4f8#.p6mpmhi93 Title: Re: This seems massive but no one cares?
