Title: Database leak? Receiving e-mail spam to address exclusively used on Bitcointalk Post by: CC23 on November 05, 2016, 04:36:46 PM I started receiving e-mail spam to a unique randomly generated mail address that I have only used to register on Bitcointalk. Since my address is set to private ("hide from public"), the database / server might have a security problem somewhere. Admins, could you please check if there's been any suspicious activity?
Does anyone else have evidence for a possible data leak? Title: Re: Database leak? Could be a total coincidence but if other users are experiencing the same thing its worth looking into at least. Title: Re: Database leak? Does anyone else have evidence for a possible data leak? Old news. There was a hack last year and a hacker got quite a huge chunk (if not all) of the forum's database. It has been floating around the internet for a while now. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1642823.0 Title: Re: Database leak?
