Title: How do "Purses" work when withdrawing USD funds?
Post by: kayser292 on April 04, 2013, 05:46:39 PM
Hello, im new to the forum, recently started mining LTC on my own.

i have a question, and since im restricted this is the only board i can ask on for now.

When using BTC-E and trying to withdraw USD, theres a box named "Purse" in which im supposed to type something, instead of a payment processors account to send the money to, my question is how does this Purse box works? what im i supposed to type there to receive the money in my payment processor of choice? Paypal or Liqpay for example.

do i have to type my account or something else? if i have to type something that isn't my account, how do they even know which account to send the money to?.

It looks like "purse" is from "WebMoney Purse" (https://my.wmtransfer.com/login.aspx), another russian site. That field "purse" doesn't change when you choose other withdraw methods though, so it could just be a bad Russian translation of "account number".

Example, this quote, which makes no sense unless you realize this is a non-native speaker using approximate translations. "Purse" could either be "virtual currency wallet" or "banking account number" or both or anything...

Confirmed, I received my missing NMC now, thanks.

We apologize for the delay we had problems with a purse NMC.

thanks for your answer, someone already told me that im supposed to put my account e-mail there (for example, if i wanted to get my account dollars paid into paypal, my paypal email).

i just got confused because the "purse" box is an extensible box, usually when you have to put an email its a small box in which an email would fit, i guess its just a design error.
