Well this IGOT & Bitxoxo is certainly no I would say for considering the igot scam and bitxoxo has always a high price to buy and very low price to sell. Go for zebpay or coinsecure safe and superb customer service in both.

yes more often  i use coinsecure only , unocoin 99% high  fee structure  all the time compare to other indian exchanges so i have deleted my account there not used more than 6 months  ::) ::) ::) :o :o :o :'( though it is the first indian bitcoin exchange got funded by  Digital Currency Group (DCG).

Yes this one of the issues with Unocoin. Their fees are the highest among the other exchanges in India. I hope they will reduce in this year itself and make it next to zero or zero like zebpay. Looking for them to work atleast half day on Sunday as well which help many users who need it on Sunday too.

well i have some questions? when it comes to zero fee strategy, when i look into the  price /btc today and compared bitcoin rates internationally at https://bitcoinaverage.com/en/bitcoin-price/btc-to-usd    it shows me the usd to inr /btc price is ₹ 47276.01 INR  nearly  706$ , but in our indian btc exchanges the rates for buy /sell goes ₹ 51k to ₹ 53k respectively , so when we convert in $ it comes around 761$ to 788$ , so is this "so called zero fee"  transaction charges  ??? ??? ??? ??? ::) :P :P :P :-\ :'(

Coinsecure is a P2P exchange, so the rate is determined by the buyers and sellers.
They only charge the 0.3% fee for every successful trade. :)

yes the customers of the coinsecure decides the rate  :) the fee is nominal for their service.

Like bitcoinisbest above, I've heard others say Zebpay has zero fee, which is not the case as far as I am concerned. I get charged 0.2% fee on every buy. Not sure why people keep saying zebpay has zero fee.

The rate you see on buy and sell screen ( and displayed everywhere ) is all inclusive. We do not charge any fees on top of that.

Unocoin is the best as of now compared to other exchanges I've tried. They give me higher rates than Google and plus the money gets deposited to the bank either the same day or the next working day. Their customer support too is very responsive and they charge barely any fees for withdrawing the money (anyways their price is above the google rate and hence the fee is just Rs. 10-15 per 1500 withdrawal).

Unocoin deposit and withdraw has become fast now.they are becoming better day by day but there is still competition btw zebpay.unocoin should introduce app similar to functionalty as zebpay.

Oh I didn't notice the buy/sell price was inclusive of fee and tax. The invoice lists the fee and tax separately, so I was like, why do people say there is no transaction fee when it clearly states it on the invoice.

Just checked bitcoinrates.in and not sure what spiked the rates for zebpay since bitcoin rates is stable from morning at 715$. Zebpay selling at 57973 and Unocoin selling at 53824.

Thats 4000 Rs difference  ??? ???

There is huge incoming demand of coins and India is short on coins at the moment.
Edit : Just to be clear, our sell rates are also best at the moment.. IMHO, at appx 20% premium, good time to sell :)

In terms of faster withdrawals and purchase of Bitcoins I have tried both Unocoin and Zebpay and they're easy to use and quick to deliver. I was amazed by Zebpay's offer to purchase amazon gift cards and dominos pizza's through the app using Bitcoins, it makes life much simpler without having to expect a merchant to accept Bitcoins. I would really appreciate it if Zebpay had a web platform as well to buy/sell bitcoins rather than just a phone application. Trybitcoin is my favourite exchange. I have used most of the above mentioned exchanges, however trybitcoin is the fastest and easiest by far. I have received my bitcoin and funds to my bank within 15 minutes. They also have an amazing chat support who are very helpful and professional. Another great thing about them is they are open 24/7, even on weekends. I don't think I will be going anywhere else after experiencing their service.

My vote is for TRYBITCOIN!!!

Unocoin offers Rs. 599 for 0.01 BTC while trybitcoin offers Rs. 574. But still unocoin uses NEFT while Trybitcoin uses IMPS and hence their service is faster. Would like to know which other exchange can offer a better price :)

Try all different exchanges and see which one works best for you. In my case the quickest service is what serves me best and hence why I use trybitcoin.

Both zebpay and coinsecure are really quick to respond on email.  Especially coinsecure response are faster.
Zebpay has way better interface when it comes to the support related issues. You know what is current status of ticket.

customer Interface:
coinsecure:  clicking on "Chat with us" window opens email contact and NOT a chat program.  document upload section has serious issue in doing it's intended task.

bitcoin price premium:
coinsecure has better price options than zebpay: zebpay has it's own reason for higher buy rate though. For end user low buy rate is the end goal.

Yes you are right ideally CS should remove that box of Chat with us and just keep as an email and phone no for contact purpose. Another thing for zebpay as a customer if you want to buy their rate is always high and some time thier price difference between buy/sell is too vary to even imagine.

Will do something about the chat box.
It has a chat support function, but not got it manned at the moment, so all chats go through mail.
With volumes picking up, we focussing a lot more on support now.

For KYC piece, if you could modify interface a bit so that one could know what is being expected to upload. Currently the window for uploading is just below the PAN card section. It is bit confusing to know from where to upload the rest of document.

Yup, gonna allow multiple uploads and add some helper text all over that page.
It is one of the oldest modules we wrote, so needs a bump up for sure.

Coinsecure server always crashed when rate fluctuates just like Flash sale is going on Flipkart etc, it caused so much inconvenience for me during trading. In case of Pending Bid/Ask orders it is impossible to cancel at that time and trade got executed automatically. Currently server not working smoothly since 2-3 hrs as rates are fluctuating .

I would say that this is not the actual case with CS only. Actually what is being observed is that if CS/Zebpay generally falls all the other exchanges come in line like Unocoin, Bitxoxo etc. Obviously it does not happen always but seen most of the time their rates are nearby itself.

Here i'm not talking about rates, i'm talking about CS server speed during rate fluctuations ( Pump and dump),site became inaccessible during such time, no data being loaded, and suddenly we get a message "Updating Engine, we will be back soon" like that. This is not happened single time, almost every time we are facing such situation which is very frustrating at that moment because you can't cancel your pending Bid/Ask orders, you can't trade.

We are working on this. No short term solution at the moment.
This seems to happen when there are too many concurrent users.

Will be fixed in time is all I can promise.

Got a basic question - how do you compare rates provided on localbitcoins.com v/s Zebpay / Unocoin etc. There seems to be a delta of INR1000+ most of the time. Has anyone evaluated

(1) how localbitcoins.com is different than other exchanges or platforms in India
(2) any advise on which of the Indian platform is good to begin with
(3) Is bitcoin liquidity dependent on the platform (zebpay, unocoin etc). or how is this managed at the country level

These sites zebpay n unocoin have explained the price difference reason on their respective sites. Check those sites for further explanation. Believing in their explanation is entirely upto so. The difference between preev rate and zebpay could sometimes go upto 15k or more.
localbitcoins.com is a btc exchange where is zebpay is not yet. coinsecure is a btc exchange.

coinsecure rates and withdrawals are much better, however getting KYC of your account will take ages, there are loaded with pending kyc. localbitcoin is also good starting point provided that you much know how exchanges work and understanding of terms like escrow. Google it.
zebpay has very fast KYC completion (withing few hours), however buying and selling rates are ridiculous. Their customer support is really cooperative n pr0mpt.

I was just checking at android app download numbers:

Unocoin     -  Installs - 10,000 - 50,000
Zebpay      -  Installs -100,000 - 500,000

Is this an indication of how the platforms/ exchanges stand as of now. Zebpay comes out to be way more popular or atleast seems so !!

AFAIK zebpay started as app oriented bitcoin vendor company. Whereas coinsecure has been around for long time and it is web-based exchange.

As per my understanding zebpay is bitcoin vendor where a person can buy fromZebpay or sell your bitcoin TO zebpay.  Whereas exchanges like coinsecure or localbitcoin or btxindia are where various users buy and sell bitcoins to each other. Exchange acts as mediator. Rates in exchanges are decided by the users and not by exchange. Thus prices you see on exchange are comparatively lower or higher. You could decided whether you want to buy bitcoins at certain rate (assuming some is selling at that price) or sell your bitcoin at certain price . 
At zebpay, bitcoin rates are decided by zebpay. You have to buy it at that rate only.
On this forum you'll find official Representatives from zebpay, unocoin, coinsecure. Any query related to their company will be answered accordingly.

Once you are familiar with bitcoin purchase process, It would be better go for bitcoin exchange like coinsecure, localbitcoin or btxindia. Soon you will find that bitcoin buying rates at coinsecure, localbitcoin, btxindia are much more comparative and realistic than those offered by zebpay or unocoin.
Thus you could start with unocoin or zebpay, after that better go for coinsecure. You will find coinsecure is much better for purchase and selling of bitcoin than zebpay or unocoin.

Last but not least, NEVER store/keep your bitcoins in bitcoin exchange wallet and third party vendor wallet AKA online wallet. Always store your bitcoins on your machine, laptop using appropriate wallet. That is once you purchase bitcoin  from coinsecure or zebpay or unocoin, immediately move your bitcoins to your personal bitcoin wallet whose private key will be with you.

I am using unocoin from last 4 months their service is very good but they take too much fees (e.g. if I send 0.001btc they took 0.0002btc as fees ) ,I just checked coinsecure their was big different in buy and sell price of bitcoin (on coinsecure buy:-62700 and sell:- 622216 and other side on
Unocoin buy price :- 68383 and sell 61203)
It was different of 4k rs .
I think it was better to go with coinsecure .

i would always suggest indian to use zebpay or coinsecure for selling bitcoins. they are not scam at all.
they have their app and ur sold bitcoins will directly go to the bank .

you are crying over .0002 btc =16 rs approx?current transaction rate is .0004 btc .so it is good they are still using only half a rate. coinsecure are offering better buy and sell rate so prefer to use it only.

Its not about 16Rs if i send 0.001 BTC ten time 0.001x10 =770Rs so then i lost almost 150 Rs on every ten transaction that is 0.0002x10=150Rs,again if we calculate it with 100, 0.001*100=7730 and here i lost almost lost 0.0002x100=1546 so now 1546 is big amount for me what do you think?
and i cant send all money once because i am sending btc in faucet thats why i have to send small amount and 1546Rs is really big amount for me.
So what i am doing now is i add fund in unocoin and send it to xapo( no fees) then transfer to faucet

I have used zebpay and unocoin both for many months now and frankly I felt Zebpay is way better than unocoin.
The only negative point of zebpay is that it has no website platform for transactions and trading. Only mobile application.

Very rightly said that zebpay only uses mobile app and it does not seem that they will be creating website in coming time . Though currently things are on halt considering govt may ban bitcoin in India so will have to wait and watch out for it.

I would prefer coinsecure as they have the lowest fees and the fastest to reach your amount in your bank account as it will be credited within an hour and i am really enjoying that service and i am sure they are the best in the Indian market with a fast service like that.

For about 3 years now, I have been using Unocoin for buying bitcoins, there have been couple of slight delays in processing in the past, but apart from that their service is reliable and smooth. I usually use Zebpay to sell bitcoins and have also tried Trybitcoin twice during bank holidays and bought BTC through Paytm. All the three are good, but I would choose Uncoin as best since I have been using it for a long time now.

This is really nice to hear . Well Unocoin has the highest % of fees as compared to anybody in India. Zebpay has 0% fees.  Also why do you sell on zebpay and not on Unocoin since you be using it for so many year now?

Yeah there fee is indeed high, like I said since I have been using them for some time I just want to stick with them for buying BTC, the KYC process for some exchanges is really bothersome.

I use two different bank accounts for buying and selling BTC. The selling bank account is linked with Zebpay, do not want to mix things up.

I have been using zebpay since long and really got fed up with their customer supports and delay in transactions. They are least bother about what a customer goes through in pending or stuck funds situations. they hardly reply and same goes with unocoin.

Now I switched to Bitxoxo exchange and so far I have no complains and faced any issue. Best thing is they always give prompt replies and solve query max in a day. I recommend bitxoxo for great customer support and services with 0% fee and gift cards they provide.
