Xapo might be another choice, I have been using it for gambling site's deposit/withdrawal without any specific problems just due to gambling activities. But when we are crossing $3000 over all transaction history, we need to submit documents to enjoy higher limits.

i think its hard to selecting the best bitcoin wallet for online gambling as all bitcoin wallet have the same function which is for sending and receiving bitcoin itself and i think i would only choose for mycelium and multibit wallet. i don't know why i choose that two wallet, maybe i just like the software itself and not because of other thing.

The old blockchain wallet the legacy version was good but the new one not so good from my experience one time I was about to make a deposit to a casino then blockchain recommended me to put like 0.006 worth of fees for a single transaction that didnt even reached 1kb.

anyways, there is never "a best" bitcoin wallet. bitcoin wallets are either good or bad. a web wallet is generally bad and when it becomes centralized and you give up control over bitcoin private keys like coinbase it gets worse.

so your options are any wallet that is not a centralized web wallet. simple as that. of course that is excluding paper wallet because paper wallet is only for keeping coins for a long time not for using regularly.

I used Blockchain for save and making deposit on gambling website and the reasons is my transaction can not be tracked because the wallet always change every i made deposit and it is made me comfort.

You have the point with it because most of them are just the same and one aim. To provide good wallet services to all of us. And for me, there are some primary bitcoin wallets came to my mind if we are talking about gambling. Coinbase is not my list either many are disappointed because of it, so my list are blockchain,xapo and moneypot.

I am using blockchain.info since I came to know Bitcoin and still for gambling activities I am using it. As you mentioned already it is user friendly and also is much more secure than those exchanges wallets. I have my main funds in desktop Bitcoin Core wallet which I don't want to expose for gambling bets. Blockchain.info is sufficient for every type of gambling in my opinion.

Blockchain for web wallet and for desktop wallet i use electrum since you can adjust the fee right now.. but the less the minimum you are paying for the fee it can process your bitcoin not in priority .. that will takes a long time before you can receive it..
So always use high fee or maximum fee for your transaction.. and there is no restriction if you use electrum

Blockchain.info is best online Bitcoin wallet for online gambling without any doubt. I really don't feel need of even windows wallet to have since it is working well and its provider is legit so no worries. That chain of Bitcoin's wallet with good Gigabytes is too much for me to download all.

Don't use online/exchange web wallet to storing your coin, too risky than use as gambling, everytime they will turn into scam wallet or hacked web, better to afford your coin for gambling, because you used it for effort(make a bet).


Blockchain is not really recommend wallet since their wallet removed from bitcoin.org wallet list, because their service have a some problem, even a lot people lost their coin.

any online wallet are really not recommended if you storing a lot of bitcoin as the private key held by third party , they can access to your wallet anytime , but if you store small amount only that is fine .

If you are going to gamble then I think is better for you to maintain your exchanges account separated from your gambling account that way you will not have to worry whether or not you will get your account closed or anything like that.

Im using mycelium for gambling activity. If you are doing gambling dont ever use local wallet/exchange to withdraw and deposit directly to/from gambling site. One reason is you dont have a control in your private key and the worst is they would lock your account if they have found out that your btc is from gambling.

I have been using my local exchange for two years now, so it's not true that our account will be lock if we are getting transactions with gambling sites. I think the government will not look on that too much as since we are anonymous I do not think they can get any evidence that would make the action of locking a certain account.

I do agree that blockchain should be a good option to consider. Coinbase doesnt really  support  to  accept  bitcoins from  gambling sites   because if  they  caught  you, your account would be freeze for  sure  just  like circle same as  other  members said here.   BLockchain  doesnt have any restrictions and  you could able to  use  it  whenever   you  want. You definitely don't want to mess with anything wallet that you don't control the keys of when you gamble. That includes coinbase, Xapo, Circle. Anything that isn't directly in control of you, you shouldn't use it to gamble. Otherwise you are risking your account being frozen and forcing to get your bitcoins out of their system in the best case scenario, or the worst case scenario losing all your coins. I'd say blockchain.info is the easiest wallet to use as a gambling wallet.

blockchain.info is still a web wallet and it has risks, although they can never ban you for the way you use bitcoin but your account can be hacked since it is online and on the web. so think about other options unless you plan to keep less than 0.1BTC there and gamble with it!

Exactly.  Why risk your funds on an online Bitcoin wallet.  Having one downloaded and having all the keys in your hard drive is much safer, depending how you secure your computer, and no risk of having no access to your funds.  I mostly prefer Multibit and Electrum, then also having some Bitcoins in cold storage is a good idea.

ya i never had any issues too with blockchain, don't know why some people not recommend it, i think if about security , now they already have 2FA so people can secure their account by themself

You have made a valid point and thats the exact reason why core wallet or light wallet or maybe online blockchain.info wallet is the best one. You can use double factor authentication if you are worried for such. By the way i think its very difficult to hack such wallets because they require a identifier along with password and hence guessing or brute forcing such long strings is almost impossible. Plus blockchain asks email confirmation when opened from a new IP for an account or different from last log-in.

Coinbase does  prohibit  in this kind  of  transaction which  its been used for  gambling  purposes. Coinbase  is  famous  regarding  on  freezing  users account  if they caught  someone  who uses  it  for gambling.  Its  against  on  the ToS , if you read  it  theres actually a  agreement regarding with this matter.  On Xapo, I think its safe the same as  blockchain because they don't  have restrictions  regarding on this matter.

Blockchain wallet is more secure than exchange wallet in my own view because now you can able to keep your private keys which is really great and it doesnt have any restriction just like other wallets like coinbase (exchange wallet). I prefer to use mycelium , but if you do low transaction only then blockchain.info or even coinomi it is fine.

The only thing that i don't like on blockchain.info was their mobile version of their wallet. Because it can't take a screen capture on the wallet which i found not friendly to me because i can't take a picture my private key and wallet ID out of it, I'm forced to write it down which is time consuming and difficult. I did tried it for something and it made me look like a kid and I was very happy to use that. I keep on playing that screen capture for the QR code of the wallet that I'm going to send my funds. Are you sure you are taking the picture of the right thing? I haven't used electrum yet but I've seen a lot of people that loves to use that.

electrum is a good and recommended wallet like mycelium and i am having good experience in the past with electrum but since i use mycelium, i leave electrum in my android phone. i think i am prefer with mycelium than electrum. if you have difficult to write down, then i think you can use another apps to help you like using whatsapp to write down your wallet address then from whatsapp, you can copy paste your wallet address to your electrum.

I haven't used mycellium yet but I am reading a lot of reviews from it and it's one of the best wallet that old bitcoin users are suggesting. But I will going to keep on sticking with blockchain.info, I prefer to keep on using this online wallet.
