Title: [Trust] Asking a Favor for Positive Trust
Post by: BlackMambaPH on November 09, 2016, 07:32:17 AM
I just want to know if this allowed in the forum?

I will lock this thread once answered.

The FOURTH VERIFIED BATCH have been sent. Congratulations and thank you for taking part in this Good Karma Society. We would like a small favor from you who will receive their KarmaTokens (KTN), please give this account and delaforetnoire's the positive trust rating. It will be much appreciated.

HOW TO GIVE A POSITIVE TRUST RATING??

click the PROFILE tab, then on your profile click TRUST, then on that window you can read TRUST SUMMARY FOR "NICK" under that there are written "Post new feedback | Trust settings", click "trust rating" there wil be a trust list, where you can add: CryptoTraderGuildGM and Delaforetnoire -thanks

Its not against the rules. They are asking to be considered trusted though, not for ratings[1] and for positive feedback. This will have an impact how the ratings of CryptoTraderGuildGM and Delaforetnoire are seen by those that added them. It raises red flags.

CryptoTraderGuildGM -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=875741
Delaforetnoire -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=224932

Edit:

As of last sunday only a few people did actual add those two to their trust lists:

Code:
$ cat trust.txt | grep Delaforetnoire
CryptoTraderGuildGM->Delaforetnoire

Code:
$ cat trust.txt | grep CryptoTraderGuildGM
bitwarrior->CryptoTraderGuildGM

Trust is not moderated unless there are extreme cases of abuse. This means that the forum allows pretty much any kind of trust dealings (including purchase, farming of trust and such). However, this does not mean that the community will condone such behavior.

I see this as a case of "Trust begging" which I do not necessarily agree with.

It looks like they are paving the way for their friends/shills to do some scamming.
