eteherum will die some day, that is for sure but that day is not today, not yet anyways. because it is a bad coin with lots of bugs and bad history of manipulation ,... but this same manipulation is not yet over and there is a very high chance that it starts getting pumped real hard real soon.

The Ethereum price is still around $11 at the moment. That means the price is quite stable, it is in demand.

ethereum is still a new concept and it will take sometime to revolve...also the fact that the start ICO price was around 0.30$ and now its 12$,I should make you think the value this coin has now

How many times on this forum have I read Bitcoin is dead? Ethereum is not dead a project on with $1 billion market cap can not just die like that. The project is facing alot of challenges presently and this happened to BTC also.

actually ethereum is a bad project which has a terrible code. there has already been so many bugs in in found and exploited!

but its price has never been affected by any of these because it is in the stage of getting pump and dumped and right now price of ETH is at the lowest possible which means there is only one way to go and that is up.

several times ago many people has been says that Ethereum will become new bitcoin and the price also was pretty high almost all traders interested to trading ETH but seems after several bugs and issue they had change their mind that this not the best altcoins who will be a replacement for bitcoin someday however even though the price was decrease day by day at least this coin still on second rank at http://coinmarketcap.com/ and volume support also still good on poloniex so in my opinion even the price dropped but ETH will still alive at least for currently

I'm sure when Augur or some of the other projects related to Ethereum get closer to release there will be more interest.
Right now things are still cooling down from Zcash coming to market.

The reason ethereum price has not risen is because there are so many ethereum-based projects competing with it.

Technically, it may not really die but can fall into insignificance due to the many reasons you cited. However, if they can soon fixed the problem then there is a strong possibility that it can regain what it lost in the past few weeks. Ethereum is known to be a very promising coin relative to Bitcoin and I do personally wish that it can be back on track soon. :)

Both are right.  :P

Switch the ETH into the Pos, maybe. But it will take a more time for fix all of the problem and seems was already setting in this time. Vitalik needed to keep his eyes in ETH platform up to 24 hours in my mind.
In the 2017 ETH will recover.  ;)

hi guy i buy ethereum 2  month ago price not move 10-11 $
bitcoin 600-700 $  ???
what happening with ethereum price? thx

nothing is happening it is more like the natural thing that happens to all the altcoins. all of them get pump and dumped from time to time and ethereum is experiencing what most speculators were warning you about, it is experiencing dump. and it will go on down more too.

But what will happen to Ethereum based projects? There are lots of big projects launched under the Ethereum banner so I guess it's hard to say imo.

Ethereum is not dead yet. It is going through a sharp correction as price was being pumped massively in 1 year. It would take some time for Ethereum to find a bottom as whales are going into Monero and Bitcoin.
Ethereum will not die as there are many projects under their banner.

actually the real whales of ethereum has not gone anywhere, the regular trader whales have gone and that is why price crashed. but the real whales holding the majority of the coins are still there, you can see them pump the coin today and also you can see their protective buy walls all over the place.

It'll likely recover, after price spikes the economy has to catch up once in circulation.

No matter the risk, alt-coins are where increased emphasis is at right now as per recency in BTC gains. Alts should follow so pick out the right ones. I know of payment processors exceeding others demand for Bitcoin, LiteCoin & DogeCoin.

Beware of losses and ensure you pick the right one as otherwise the opportunity may pass by.

The price has already recovered from recent lows.

in case of this particular altcoin (ethereum) the price recovers only because it has too many whale manipulators who will prevent the crash of it and will push the price up again. you can see their huge buy walls on poloniex each time price is getting dumped pretty hard.

No matter the risk, alt-coins are where increased emphasis is at right now

actually altcoins have never had the increased emphasis! it is all about bitcoin and it has always been like this. people want bitcoin and that is why they trade altcoins. they do it to make more bitcoin when they make a profit.

I want to agree with "altcoins following the bitcoin rise" but this has so many exceptions that the rule itself does no longer apply. I mean in the past there has been multiple occasions that altcoins did not follow bitcoin and they even went the other way.

That is right. The spread between bitcoin and altcoin could be wider.
