Title: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: c4n10 on April 05, 2013, 10:42:07 AM I am unable to login to BTC-e even though I see over 7,000 people in the chat...
I can't even create a new account to get in and let them know since they apparently have no way to contact them unless you are logged in. They are holding my USD, won't let me in and I am PISSED... Don't worry. They are holding thousands of my dollars. If they run with the money u won't be the one who lose this useless fiat. ;D Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: c4n10 on April 05, 2013, 10:46:26 AM I am unable to login to BTC-e even though I see over 7,000 people in the chat... The e-mail is support@btc-e.com Ok, that is now 3 of us including Sukki on my thread in "alternate crypto-currencies"... A bug that the other 3,500+ logged in users on chat are not experiencing... Seems unlikely... They could just be automatically still be logged in. I was still logged in on my phone as well (till I tried to relog to see if it would work on my phone..) I was still logged in on my phone as well (till I tried to relog to see if it would work on my phone..) Ok, well that still doesn't explain why support can't take the time to let us know what is going on by either replying to our requests for support or placing an announcement on the homepage that something is wrong, they are aware and working on it... Instead, support, admin and dev are ALL online and apparently ignoring support requests... Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: Meatyy on April 05, 2013, 11:26:05 AM same i cant login either.....
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: Meladath on April 05, 2013, 11:27:03 AM Same problem here, woke up this morning, saw the incredibly low LTC price so I logged in to buy, only to find I can't login, and the "forgot your password" request ALWAYS just says incorrect captcha (even though I have clearly entered it correctly)
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: pekv2 on April 05, 2013, 11:34:26 AM can't login either.

Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: TECSHARE on April 05, 2013, 12:44:31 PM BTC-e, you are looking pretty amateurish right now! If you don't fix your crap GOX is going to EAT YOUR LUNCH when they introduce LTC. Lucky for me I pulled almost all of my crypto out when the DDoS started. I am still paying tho because your "little mistake" is driving down the Litecoin price! FIX IT OR I WON'T BE BACK!
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: Ephebus on April 05, 2013, 01:30:08 PM Just logged in with no problems whatsoever. Don't have any funds there at the moment, though.
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: happygeorge on April 05, 2013, 05:03:48 PM I have been logging in/out all the time in the past 10 hours.
I just suggested to a friend to use it! Is that a good idea? It seems to be working for me.. .with only a few coins there. UPDATE: i thought the thread was about bitcoin-24.com I was not using BTC-e (sorry!) Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: pekv2 on April 05, 2013, 05:29:06 PM Yes, they fixed what ever was wrong quite a few hours ago.
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: juggernaut76 on April 23, 2013, 07:05:00 PM This seems to be a perpetual problem with the site. If I try to leave the main page, to log in, I get sent to https://btc-e.com/login (https://btc-e.com/login) and the screen is white/blank. This happens frequently/daily.
Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: carafleur on April 23, 2013, 07:20:08 PM you must login with your email address and not with your nickname as it used to be
however, maybe their authentication token is wrong... i thought i had problems because of my proxy (privoxy for instance) but even without it, i can login on my profile and ltc/usd exchange page, but not on ltc/btc or btc/usd exchange pages... kinda wtf isn't it :-X Title: Re: WARNING: BTC-e May Be Untrustworthy Post by: redwraith on April 23, 2013, 07:57:21 PM This seems to be a perpetual problem with the site. Now multiply it by an estimate of the transfers happening per day/month in all the currencies they support. Maybe "scam" is too strong, but surely is a "stay the hell away from me" in my book. |
