Bitcoin Tip: Only lend/trade what you are willing to lose.
Any profits you make will almost always be offset by others that defaulted.
Lending & trading is always risky and most of the time you will likely be in the red.

Bitcoin Pro Tip: Only hloding bitcoin is a safe and almost sure way toward increased value.

I think you can take a look on Poloniex however it's a risky, any exchange can be hacked and you lost your money, so just invest in lending what you are able to lose.

Sites like this uses colateral, for example you will hold an altcoin from the other guy.

As you are still new to lending, you are highly suggested to check our lending section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0) before land on any sites.
To lend this forum must be the best portal than any specialized sites. Still, you can find many lending business site from service announcements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0).

There are two websites for making loans in bitcoin, you can check loanbase and btcjam, there are FAQ that clear explaining about how it work. And if you want try making loans on this forum i am doubt there are people who give the loans on you because of you are newbie, except you have valid collateral.

Bitcointalk.org :) I feel this is the best site to lend out money. The trust system here is very efficient for exactly that kind of purpose, and accounts sort of have value to. So if a Hero Member(lets say the going cost of a hero member is 100 BTC) , wants to get a loan, you can lend him say upto 30% of 100 BTC and be somewhat more confident than any other site that you will get your money back.

Hey sig spammer, read carefully first before you comment/post on here. OP never said for asking a loan, he's just want to lending his money to other people as his statement,
what if I gave someone money and he/she don't return it ?

You got scammed then. Just lend your money to people who have valid collateral or to trusted person. But always watchout when you're opening a lending service, many people already got scammed, it has big risk.

I have checked poliniex exchange many times, there are many people who were offering bitcoins for margin trading, but no people were seeming interested to take those offers for their trading. Maybe the time restrictions to return back the extra margins, we will be using for our trading the prime reason why people are not casually going for it.

I guess poloniex kind of concepts will not help many people to earn big through lending business.

Also I have herad margin trading/leveraged trading are not good idea as they will be involving more risk. This might be than of the reason why traders are not going for margin trading so often.

Op, I understand that you want to earn money from accrued interest by lending your BTC. Most services I read about have problem with enforcing healthy lending environment.
For example BTCJam. Read this article - https://99bitcoins.com/btcjam-reviewed-my-personal-experience-reddit-user-reviews/ (https://99bitcoins.com/btcjam-reviewed-my-personal-experience-reddit-user-reviews/) - and then scroll to the comments section.
You will see what I am talking about.

Come take a look at btcjam.  Its a peer to peer lending site.  The borrowers are asked to submit some various documents so the more document you submit the trustable you will be.  Of course btcjam review it first.

Or you can just take a look at our lending section at MARKET PLACE>LENDING.  It has short and long term offers.  You can be a lender/borrower.

Always ask for a valid collateral, If you're planning to be a lender.

first of all i suggest you don't do it because it is hard and time consuming with lots of competition and little return.

but if you want to insist, then do it on this forum. just make sure to read the stickies in the lending board here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0 to learn about how to detect scammers and what a valid collateral is.

Gave means you are not expecting for a return. If you give a loan without a collateral then the one you are dealing didn't follow both parties agreement rules, then likely you probably have been scammed if any collateral is not likely on your possession, then we can proceed for the next show.

Forget lending sites, the one who can help you is using your social media then proceed with your concern whatever the reason is.

The idea of bitcoin p2p lending seem already dead by now due to lots of scam by borrower. However you can try margin lending offered by few trading platform, poloniex also have that option. You can't earn big amount however chance of borrower running away is almost zero if platform don't get hacked or turned off.

here on bitcointalk and btcjam but if you want to lending some bitcoin, in bitcointalk you need to have good rep at least you are not a newbie and you don't scam any person. in btcjam, i think you need to get verified before you can lend. this verification is just to prevent for people which is lend that run away and don't pay the money. but be careful when you finally decide to lending bitcoin because you should think how you gonna repay your lending.

You have offered your things as collateral. And they have to pay you some amount as your borrow cost. It can need verification.

what if I gave someone money and he/she don't return it ?
You are able for catch his collateral.
what are the best lending sites ?
This site is the best site in my mind. Btcjam

The best lending site is this forum, Condoras has a service around here that is prett much cool. You'll need collateral so, even your account could be a guarantee, but, it's cool but (as normal) it takes time to get higher loans, I mean, if you're newbie, maybe you can get a .01 loan, then, with time, and more activity in your account and more "trust" granted by the users who you take money, you would be able to take higher, like a hero member can easily starts with a .1 loan because their accounts normally woths more than that... so, particularly, I don't like btcjams because it's full of burocratization, poloniex is cool but all these big sites are full of confirmation, etc, etc... so, in my opinion bitcointalk forum is the best place for Bitcoin lending.

Bitcoin Pro Tip: Only hloding bitcoin is a safe and almost sure way toward increased value.

This method sounds really easy, most of the newbies can absulotely do it without even asking but i should have to agree with you that no matter how simple this method is it should be on the pro tips category.

Hello There,
I am a new bitcoin user and interested in lending sites,
how do they work ?

they mostly work based on trust and the history of the users asking and receiving loans.
but also there is collateral which doesn't work everywhere but it is a better solution.

Quote
what if I gave someone money and he/she don't return it ?

then you will end up losing your money if you didn't take any collateral and there has been so many scams on lending platforms like btcjam and similar sites. you can find them by a quick search.

Quote
what are the best lending sites ?

none of them are good in my opinion but if you want to know them others have already mentioned some and it think the most popular ones are btcjam, lending on poloniex and i think bitfinex had a similar option too.

if u have any tips, please.... TYPE AWAY!

do on the this forum and take a valid collateral that you can sell if they default.

Maybe you can start lending on sites like Poloniex where you are protected as investor. On sites like BTCjam or Bitlending Club there is risk to lose your money or get scamed. You could also try here on forum with small amounts for the start. I'm sure that some experienced wenders here would give you some advice how to do it.

Bitfinex  and   Poloniex  would be  my  choice  regarding  on this  bitcoin lending    because   risk  of  being scammed  is less  compared  on  p2p lending  . You could  also  do start  lending  service  here  on bitcointalk forum  but   sameas  other said  here  you  must always ask  for strong collateral  regarding on the  said loan  because   scammers are everywhere and you dont have  any chance  to get those  bitcoins back  if  you are  being scammed by someone.

That is correct,In poloniex your bitcoin is safe. I have also my bitcoin ark at poloniex in their margin lending. Above all the lender cannot withdraw until all is cleared from margin trading.

as you are asking on here you now bitcoin talk as a lending section. as long as you got collateral then you can get goo rates on here.
don't ask for one without it as you will get bad trust and you want get a loan either.  there are a lot of others sites but you will need to go through a lot of hoops so best place to start is here.

The polo hasn't told me about any chance for try use their lending service.
Like other said, they were saying if polo the true of the lending site.
In my mind, if they have smaller demand about his lending service.
Could the people say are true about polo?
