I'm a newbie so I'm posting my question here :) even though it belongs to hardware. I already have a pc with an ati 5970 running win7 (but have no issue to switch to ubuntu). I wanna buy an 6990 to boost my bitcoin mining on the same pc. Mobo supports 3xPCIExpress16 so no issue there. I know crossfire will not work. But will I be able to mine separately from both cards?
