2013-04-05: The Bitparking exchange is closing down. I've decided the risk involved in dealing with the current high prices for the alt coins has moved from the 'fun hobby' level the exchange originally started with and requires a more serious approach to operation. I've been in contact with the Vircurex exchange and I encourage all existing customers to move their funds and continue trading their.

The exchange will close trading Friday 5 April 2013 22:00 and new deposit addresses will not be able to be created. Trading operations will also be disabled. Withdrawals will be available for a few days after that at which point the exchange will close and all funds sent to their emergency withdrawal address. Withdrawal fees are removed during this period. Thanks for using the exchange and enjoy a better and more professional experience at Vircurex.

ipotizzando che vircurex sia down per un attacco ddos...
dovrei preoccuparmi del mio wallet su vircurex?

Non conosco il caso specifico, ma ripeto per l'ennesima volta: MAI lasciare fondi ingenti su un e-wallet.

Non dico di non usarli, ma bisogna agire sempre come se da un giorno all'altro, senza preavviso, potessero sparire.

È già avvenuto più volte: impariamola una buona volta questa lezione.

Eh, questo purtroppo è un difetto congenito di questo tipo di piattaforme. Per un certo periodo, sono a rischio o dei Bitcoin, o della valuta fiat (o entrambe le cose).

Spero che le piattaforme di trading P2P prendano presto piede, proprio per tagliare alla fonte anche questi rischi.

tu credi che nel caso i wallet degli utenti vengano compromessi vircurex non rimborserà?
scusami ma sono nuovo dell'ambiente e tu che hai già visto accadere scenari simili magari avrai un'idea di cosa devo aspettarmi

Non conosco VirCurEx, quindi non mi pronuncio.

Eviterei di preoccuparmi prima del necessario, comunque. Se i gestori sono seri, non dovresti aver perso altro che del tempo.

Temporary restrictions:
- Trading fee reduced to 0.1% until end of April.
- API calls have been disabled for the time being.
- Charts currently only show the last 100 trades. We will reactivate the older hisotry charts after the hardware upgrade is completed.
