Title: Will the difficulty for mining ever realistically decrease again?
Post by: Smt923 on April 06, 2013, 12:34:21 AM
Just wondering, and it's probably a silly question, I'm not 100% sure how the difficulty is "set" but it's dropped before according to the thing on 50BTC, just wondering if anyone can see the diff' dropping once more? Though, I doubt it with ASICs coming fairly soon (already, a bit).

would the difficulty drop if the US$ value of BTC fell to $20 or $5? assuming their is a  relationship between how many people mine and the value
