Other

- A welterweight bout between ranked contenders Dong Hyun Kim and Gunnar Nelson was expected to serve as the headlined of the event. However on October 21, it was announced that Nelson pulled out due to an injury and the fight was off. Kim is expected to be rescheduled for a future event. In turn, a middleweight rematch between former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall was announced as the new headliner. The pairing met previously in September 2015 at UFC Fight Night: Barnett vs. Nelson with Hall taking the victory via second round highlight reel TKO in what was considered a huge upset.

- A lightweight bout between Ross Pearson and James Krause was originally booked for The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Claudia Finale. However, Krause pulled out due to undisclosed reasons. The fight was later rescheduled for this event and was expected to serve as the co-main event. Subsequently on October 26, Krause pulled out of the fight citing a torn hamstring. He was then replaced by Stevie Ray.

- As a result of the cancellation of UFC Fight Night: Lamas vs. Penn, a flyweight bout between Kyoji Horiguchi and Ali Bagautinov was rescheduled for this event.

The only fight that I am looking forward to on this card is the rematch between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall. In their first fight, Hall pulled off the upset that shocked the UFC world, spectacularly knocking out Mousasi with a spinning back kick and flying knee. Since that fight, Mousasi has won three fights in a row and is now in line for a UFC title shot, while Hall has lost two in a row since that surprise win. I predict that Mousasi will avenge the loss, winning this fight by unanimous decision.

I like the Jamaican again. I have been watching hall since when he was
fighting in bellator and enjoyed him on TUF

I think I will be on the Hall side.

Gegard is the favorite to win this and he has become a better fighter since that loss. Yes and I do not like betting for a fighter who is coming from a loss versus a fighter who is on a winning streak. Do not forget that this is also a grudge match which makes it more entertaining for the fans. I would hate to see another upset here.

It would be better to see Mousasi climb the ladder again and challenge Jacare.  That's gonna be a better fight as there's history between the two.  The last time they fought, Mousasi lost, so it would be good to see him try to get that loss back and be a real contender at MW.

Gegard Mousasi is a worthy title contender as he has recorded 4 wins in 2016 and he is the most active fighter in the division and his MMA profile is awesome with 41 wins alltogether with 34 wins by stoppage which is great according to any records and in his post fight speech he is willing to do a super fight with Anderson Silva or Nick Diaz ,he is one fight short of a title challenge.

I wasn't particularly impressed with both Mousasi and Hall in this fight.  My first impression when it all ended was that Hall took the fall for money.  That was honestly my initial reaction when the referee stopped the fight and declared Mousasi the winner.  Hall just gave up so easily and too quickly.

What is the difference between this UFC 205, 206 etc and UFC FN series?
