ISIS fighters in Iraq are resorting to desperate and deadly defensive measures to hinder the Iraqi forces that are moving closer into their stronghold in the city of Mosul. The terrorists are now using dogs in place of humans as suicide bombers.

According to Inquisitr, Fahmi Abbas, an officer from the Iraqi Armored Units, said Isis operatives are strapping dogs with suicide vest before sending them to locations where Iraqi forces are stationed and then blow them up by remote control.


 
By using the animals as suicide bombers, ISIS retains its human soldiers to be used in more important attacks throughout the region.

The Sun notes that the new cowardly strategy by ISIS has been futile since the doomed canines were hit by Iraqi heat-seeking missiles before they reach their targets.

In the statistics released by the Iraqi Army, during the 19 days of the operation to retake the city of Mosul from the control of ISIS, more than 100 suicide bombing attacks have been recorded, although it is not clear how many of those were human or canine.

Abbas said the Iraqi Army is aware of the desperate tactics used by ISIS and are on the lookout for anything unusual among the stray dogs in Mosul.

The military official also said that they are expecting that the terrorists might use other animals for suicide bombing attacks.

after reading that article i can't imagine how coward and evil that ISIS group is, they are using this innocent animal for suicide bombing in order to retains their soldiers . I also can't imagine if they will start to do this evil tactics to the innocent child i hope it's not going to happen .

It's not their own choice, so it's not suicidal bombing it is just remote bombing by live carriers.
I wonder if they can use mice or flies :).
It will never end this war as long as main players continue to support in any way possible the both sides.
As we can see both USA and Russia are involved so basically they are fighting against each other.

suppose that this not suicidal bombing as it is not their own choice but this is disturbing enough , isn't it ? they are using this poor animals that is not aware of what's happening or what are those terrorist putting to their body and what will happen to them soon . as a pet lover this is very disturbing for me . why they(ISIS) are not doing it on the way they used to do it before .

yeah I think so, this war will never end as they are just fighting against each other because of the reason that the US and Russia is just protecting their own nation from these terrorist  and I wonder who is the main cause of this war and who is gaining profit from this war .

This is most probably a fake news. It is not possible to use dogs in this manner, no matter how highly trained they are. What if the dogs run back to the ISIS command post rather than exploding near the frontline?

okay let's suppose that this is just a fake news if that so then it will be great but for me it seems real . by the way i don't think that it can't be possible because dogs are once used by the soviets as exploding anti-tank dogs during the world war II and they are the are the first union to use dogs to this type of tactics .

It probably is fake news created by tabloids to help fill newspapers, but it will probably become a reality now that the idea is out there. Just when you think those savages can't stoop any lower, they find new ways to disgust and they really think others will be persuaded to join them with these barbaric acts? I have a dog and I play with him a lot in my spare time. if you throw something for the dog to take, it brings it back. If indeed the people of the Isis think of adopting this cruel and condemnable strategy, you can be sure that more days or less days these dogs will show the hiding place of the isis.

It may be cruel and evil as it gets, but the bad thing is that it might work. Altho in war, there ahouldnt be emotions, sven if it was a dog, a cat or a child, evil will use everything to get it's way and thatbcarrier should be eliminated asap should it not be the further bigger threat with more dead people.

Poor little creatures. Dogs don't deserve that kind of treatment. Dogs are mans bestfriend and should not be treated or be an instrument of war. Only people who are so evil can do things like this. They are forcing Dogs into suicide missions just like they have used women and children in the same manner. I know dogs are not equivalent to humans but it is still inhumane. They are strict about butchering pigs but can spare dogs?

At least by using dogs, they are sparing the women and children. Anyway... the end seems to be very near. As per the latest reports, the Kurdish Peshmerga is just 20 km away from Raqqa. Mosul is about to fall, and if Raqqa falls as well, the ISIS will be left without any major cities. And I don't think they will survive for long in the Syrian desert.

definitely there are no fundamental difference between human and animals so this could be very evil they are using these poor little creature for this kind of mission where these fur buddies are not aware. those sick bastards ISIS go where they belong after they died i know that they have different agenda from the government but this, is so f*cking bs.

I don't understand how did you come to the conclusion that the USA and Russia "fighting against each other" when actually they both are fighting ISIS there? Russia is fighting ISIS in Syria and the USA in Iraq. I know there are many other forces involved, including Iran for example, but this is now irrelevant. What I mean is no way we can say it's a war between the USA and Russia.

i am also thinking about that and i know that these people were not born evil maybe they are actually fighting for something whether it is their independence from the international organization or some thing that they want to retrieve and they are introduced to the people by someone with hidden agenda that these groups are trying to terrorize or invade the whole world but this isn't the reality .

Btw i think they can success this by watching the dog's movements with a GPS unit. I am pretty sure they thought about the possibility of the dog being returned so they probably have a remote control unit to activate the bomb.

This is just insane for using poor animals as their strategy. They are just fighting for money amd power. I believe that they are paid to do a job, a job to terrorise countries.

Damn, it's smart tho. If this was a game like Red Alert 2. I used to do that on the attack dog, I placed C4 charges on them then have them attack the enemy.

In a more serious note. I really hope some country find and nuke the base of ISIS and kill every one of them. They are a cancer in this world.

Nuking them is not a serious option. First of all, none of the super-powers (and even India and Pakistan) want to use nuclear weapons as a first strike. And also, ISIS is using civilians living in areas controlled by them as human shields. If we bomb the cities under ISIS occupation, then far more civilians than terrorists are going to lose their lives.

What I really meant was to really strike them and end their reign of terror. Nuking anyone or anything is overkill and should be banned in the articles of war. A nuclear explosion creates so much devastation on impact as well as after it explodes.

Even using conventional weapons against them is very difficult, as I said they are using civilians as human shields. It is a very tough choice, and there will be lot of collateral damage. But the first priority should be to wipe out the ISIS at any cost.

In this situation, would you chose the life of a few hundreds of people or the whole population of the world? Will the ends justify the means?

I agree this is fake, dogs would just wander around looking for food. With 600 of them they would be humping each other like mad. Completely useless for delivering bombs.

russians did the same in the second war

It is not that easy. If you bomb a house with the full knowledge that there are innocent civilians inside, then after the war you may be tried at a war crimes tribunal. This has happened several times in the past. You can't defend yourself by saying that these deaths were collateral damage.

yeah they did it during the world war II but it is not only the Russia who did this tactics but all of the member countries of the soviet union and i think they did different way of using dogs to carry a bomb and the only purpose of these dogs is to drop a bomb near the Tanks and then the soviet will detonate it but I have no idea what happened to the dogs after that ;D
