During the test phase, we have to store a lot of data in order to test the functionality and correctness of the software.
That is why we want to use a blockchain project, where we can save data cheaply. We use data volumes of up to 250 kBytes for each transaction. Most transactions however are Any suggestions for alternatives? We thought about to use test nets where we can get coins for free. But we decided to test it on a productive blockchain in order to face real confirmation and load times and issues. We have already tried Bitcoin and Nxt blockchain, but both charge relatively high costs which are simply too expensive for the test in the long run. Any suggestions for alternatives? The steem blockchain is designed to store text dtata and is free to use. U have to have some coins in order to use it but there are no transaction cost. Any way you could check "qora". You could make webpages or store any other content within blockchain and it has an integrated webserver but it also has a transaction costs. NXT's prunable messages feature. I have read and considered prunable message of NXT already theoretically. However I could not find any information about how costly it is compared to usual arbitrary messages.
