Its is quite tricky to set up nodes on VPS. Your nodes should preferably be in different IP range to have it more diversed and it can be hard. Try looking through lowendbox.com for an offer. The cheaper ones are OpenVZ VPSes and linux should be enough for your use. It seems that you don't know prices well, it's hard to get normal vps with 20$, nothing to say about dedicated servers. Price of dedicated servers is different in every country and on global market. Hostgator and many other well knowns sell dedicated servers with low bandwidth with higher price that doesn't worth it's half. They are quite stable from my experience. Check lowendbox, some of them are stable and it is hard to use 1TB unless you have lots of connections.
