dear milionaires,


the signs of economic crisis are on the wall. if you guys decide that it could be appropriate to own at least ONE btc, be reminded that this will be very difficult to achieve.

there are 16 million of you on our planet. but there will only be 21 million btc ever. 16 million btc are already mined. no one knows how many are lost, no one knows how many are held by hardcore hodlers (who will never sell), no one knows if the first million btc (satoshis stash?) will ever move.

Same as you, when I think about those, I can only imagine crazy high prices for the future. By crazy, I really mean it. 700 bucks would stay like a gum money if what i imagine becomes reality. (1 million dollars)

There are only 1.3 million shares of Berkshire Hathaway stock. It is impossible for every millionaire own a share.

I don't think it will be the end of the world for these millionaire if they fail to hold 1 Bitcoin.  There is always an alternative to trade if trading on one stock gone difficult because of its price.  But well I agree that bitcoin will certainly boom in price but i wonder what it is to the millionaires of the world .

Watch out if the 1 per cent decide to only use an altcoin or combination of and force merchants to only accept that for rewards.

They will never be worried. If they give btc no value then it has no value to them.

Even if stocks or wall street crashes, these millionaires would still find a way to create money out of thin air and effortlessly. Although some might fall extremely hard due to the crash, still there would be lots of millionaires holding on and making money, just like what they usually do. Lastly, the impending economic crash doesn't guarantee a win situation for bitcoin IMHO.

I think there is more than 16 millions millionaire. That's even sure. Just in Europe there is probably more than that.

i don't know this is related or not i have been heard similar such as this before but i was forgot the name of this person and he mentioned us to own at least 1 btc and he said that for those who have 1 bitcoin maybe in the future we will became an millionaires because holding 1 btc per person but i don't think would so easy and slightly impossible that 1 bitcoin will makes people so rich

If so than it seems not everyone gonna get 1 bitcoin, and also one millionaire gonna buy more than 1 bitcoin or even 1000 bitcoin for sure as they can afford it.

It will be interesting when 21 miilions of bitcoin finished being mined, at that time we will see a super high price of bitcoin, i think when the millionaire decided to play in bitcoin there wont be enough bitcoin for us, and we will see another crypto currency being used, so i think in the future if really all of the people join to bitcoin world and the supply is not enough they will find another alt coins to invest

Or they are already in others projects or they are enjoying life, maybe we will find 0,001% that will invest in cryptos and that's all.

It would largely depend on the scale of the crisis. If it should be mild, conditionally hard currencies and assets such as American dollar and gold may certainly get a boost. Bitcoin would be somewhere in between these two. If it will be more severe, all monies including Bitcoin will burn and only gold will reign, with silver as change.

All millionaires i the world decided to own at least 1 BTC, I agree it will drive the bitcoin price value to all time high. Its advantage to those who aere pioneer and to those who are starting to hold. The bright future lies ahead.

You do not need to worry about millionaires,they have money they can not spend the whole life.Probably these people not care too much for BTC these days,maybe if price is x000$ it would attract their attention.But then many holders will sell their coins and millionaries would have bought them if they estimate that they can earn with such investment.

There will always be those who will want to buy and those who will want to sell,and if we assume that BTC in the future will be worth a lot more than today, then the millionaires will be the ones who will be able to buy, regardless of price.

and i gotta say that is in US and nobody else cares about, whereas bitcoin can be bought, used, and held from literary any place in the world and no one can stop you from doing it.

It don't really matter for me at all since I'm not a millionaire.. yet. What matters is as long as I'm earning my bitcoins that would be fine for me.. even if I'm going to be a millionaire I will find an alternative way to eran money other than bitcoin.

You don't have to be a millionaire,
anyone who has the ability to earn $750, even if it takes you weeks or months,
would be wise to invest in at least one Bitcoin.
Even if you have to save money by not going out as much, cooking meals at home instead of eating fast food, etc,
owning a little bit of digital currency is a wise investment.

It is not that you need whole 1 bitcoin or that bitcoin is limited to only full units. I am wondering why Op is addressing his words to people who already are rich.

Thus only millonaires can only have 1 btc or more? If you are determined to earn 1 btc per month or even for a year, i think it was really possible. Hardworking is the key to success to have at least 1 btc. A person can start a small investment and keep it rolling. I know its hard to earn 1 btc but if you are determined, you can think of another way to earn the certain amount that you wish to have.

that is my point: not enough whole bitcoins around even for the wealthy elite. not enough for them, not enough for us, not enough at all. on the other hand: currently one btc only costs $728,-

There might be an economic crisis on the way, but what makes bitcoin a good investment now? Most millionaires are not stupid and they are very well prepared when it comes to hedging their money in anticipation of some sort of dramatic event, much like an economic collapse. The more you have, the better hedged you are.

Plus, if you look at the market right now, most are probably waiting for the trough. And the market looks really keen on giving them one.

yes but not everyone can actually buy it, because if everyone start to buy now the second buyers that buy one bitcoin will already need to pay $751 and so on, so in the end only millionare can buy the majority of bitcoin, remember that bitcoin is limited and the majority of bitcoin will not be sold at current price

I think there is still a massive pump to come first, before we see a crash, they havnt rode this high enough yet

It's never enough to remind people the importance of owning at least 1 full BTC. People can't perceive this because the price is still more or less affordable, but soon they will realize how much of a mistake it was to not buy BTC monthly, as much as possible, trying to buy and stock on them. 3 figure per Bitcoin will be soon a thing of the past and there will be a lot of depressed people when they realize their mistake. Those are the idiots that are constantly waiting for "the perfect price" instead of buying at whatever price, because all prices are good in the long term.

But the issue that op is raising to millionaires I believe are those who dont know or who have no idea about Bitcoin because I am so certain that there is no millionaire who is on this forum or read what OP stated that is not already having at least 1 Bitcoin and then the issue is the others that are no here are those ones the message should be directed to...

Also the economic crises of 2008 came and went as well and the rich people were still standing, that was even before Bitcoin so if another should come I dont see their wealth eroded away simply because they did not invest in Bitcoin...

Money doesn't make happy, but it's really hard to see a millionaire sad :) .

I guess most of btc millionaire (early adopter!) are already on forum just to see major change in the community or because they are running some service...

Perhaps we forget an important point... they can buy 1 btc at "every" price, it's not matter now is undervalued, if go up to 100k $ they could even buy without problem, I think this is only a problem for us.

But to attract new "rich man" , maybe some investment funds could create a portfolio that include also bitcoin!

2008 type of crisis. too much debt. banks unhealthy, €-crisis, etc.  why do you think central banks risk everything in order get economies going? i do not think those central bankers ZIRP or even NIRP just for the fun of it.

While that is likely true, it is also likely true that most millionaires are absolutely ignorant about cryptocurrency. Heck, they are even probably mostly ignorant about the nature of our current partial reserve fiat monetary system.

Don't tell that millionares don't have BTC's. They are behind mining hardware companies. Imagine without millions and millionarea behind bitmain, how would they be able to achieve such a good progress? They have their own mining rigs, engineers and all staf which they need, also they have one of the greatest mining pool. That costs millions. I can say the same about bitfury.

I really doubt the rich people will consider get bitcoin even for fun, i do understand your concern and i dont believe people doesnt wanna to buy bitcoin at this stage, Christhmas is coming and people are dumping some coins into the walls, but sure i do believe the price is cheap.

Yeah, that's crazy, isn't it?  Anyhow, I'm not concerned about the scarcity factor.  There's enough to go around, and right now demand isn't anywhere near where it could be.  I had 1 whole bitcoin at one point, but I sold some.  Don't think I made any money.  Just being stupid.

Millionaires around the whole already had their own stuffs to be busy --- at least, I want to believe, that the majority build their own millions ---, so, Bitcoin is not their business. But, as it was said, the mining are advanced and Bitcoin is now like "in the final path" comparing with a gold mine, but, like gold, those millionaires can easily take their millions and buy OUR Bitcoin, even if you win x1000 the price you paid 10 years ago, they don't care, the fact is that if it clearly worth a good cash (like precious metal) they will buy and they will hold the same way people hold gold or silver bars. It will be sick to sell for "these" people, but, if you need money, you will sell it.

There are more and more bitcoins lost every day, so that makes those that are not lost even more valuable. As the number created(mined) each year gradually drops, that also makes them more scarce and more valuable.

For me, it's not an issue since I'm not a millionaire. But if I'm one of them, I would not worry about this issue because there are still other alternatives to earn money aside from bitcoin investment. Millionaires are millionaires. They do have many businesses that are really profitable that makes them rich. So I think it wouldn't be an issue for them if this will gonna be the status in bitcoin.

Indeed bitcoin is not the world.  Anyone can survive without it, though I admit that bitcoin help me in my financial capability, but it is just one of those thousand assets that can be traded daily.  If someone does not have bitcoin it is not the end of the world for them, they might missed the opportunity with bitcoin but then i bet they are already enjoying another opportunity.

 in my opinion there are two groups of millionaires in regards to bitcoin: those who already know about bitcoin and they are already whales who have large amounts of it and have been making profit from bitcoin fluctuations.
and those who find bitcoin to tiny for their purposes and stick to bigger markets like stocks,... that they can make bigger investment and make even more.

I would strongly advise everyone to take such suggestions with a massive grain of salt. It doesn't matter if you personally spend all your retirement money on bitcoins and end up under the bridge in the end. It is your business after all and your choice. But if someone else blindly follows this or similar advices, he may be in for a big trouble in the future.

I think we can see the bitcoin as an opportunity to invest it and hold some for the future. You are right if you miss the boat to have some bitcoin under your belt is not the end of the world.

People will have other assets like gold, shares or simply have some money in a saving account in the bank to have peace in mind ;)

People who have money always have to diversify.
Gold, properties, companies, even shares are good options.
Money in the banks can be treacherous (never forget Cyprus, March 2013). So the idea OP tries to propagate is not very bad.

But I see at least 2 weaknesses in OP strategy:
* Millionaires of the world don't really stay on bitcointalk.org (though with some luck one of their advisers can be around)
* If they buy all the available Bitcoin, there will not be enough for us, the "mortals" to accumulate more and ... get to follow our dreams ;)

I'm not a millionaire but it has been my dream to become rich, and I will achieve that here in bitcoin. I will hold no matter what the future is, 1 BTC is enough, I will not be hurt when it's gone.

If economic crisis are going to make BTC go to da moon, I hope this happens sooner than later  :D

But I also think that it won't be millionaires that will drive the price in that scenario. They already have all the money in the world and probably don't care about something called Bitcoin. The people that will drive the price are the ones whose investments are badly hit during recession and they're looking for an alternative medium to secure their money before it becomes a survival issue for them.

Yes, it is not only millionaire even an ordinary person can even own 1 BTC. Even from signature campaign alone, he can earn a BTC if he diligently save it.In this case we can say that bitcoin price has really a big potential to grow.

but in all seriousness it is already too late for anyone too big to get into bitcoin because there have been enough spread during the past years that they can not come in and buy cheap coins and become whales just like that. they would be forced to pay a lot more and that will derive the price higher even.

That would be like the law of diminishing returns. At first, they would be able to grab enough bitcoins from the orderbooks even at crazy prices, but after the liquidity gets eaten away, with the supply of new bitcoins to the market constantly decreasing while the prices going higher, more dollars will be pursuing less bitcoins until markets become fragmented and disrupted while price quotations ultimately useless and irrelevant...

That's why such things are unlikely to happen for real

Nobody knows how many  millionaires are in Russia,Putin 100 most wealthy persons are not   millionaires ,you count them in bln and China how many is there,i dont think thay will buy btc maybe for fun only.Thay are not so much p2p

That's true. Millionaires don't give a penny about bitcointalk. If they want btcs they can buy. We don't even know if they have some thousand's as an investment. And yes economic crisis is now and here but taking a look in history books in these cases rich become richer and poor became poorer.   

Just an estimate only and even a small percentage invest and hoard bitcoin, it can really affect the bitcoin price. Some millionaires are monitoring the bitcoin and even invest in "small amount" maybe just several thousands dollars, its a big effect already.

They'll hoard if the demand is great, and it will benefit us investors here but not for the regular spender. So we should know what side to play now.
