As long as they can crank out a block every 24 hrs, you'll get your fix. You'll even make more BTC because your miners aren't dropping all the time. Smaller pools also give you bigger "chunks" of bitcoins so you pay less to send you bitcoins later down the road. Variance is a factor with smaller pools, but over a week or more time period it doesn't practically matter.
