Title: Is Facebook using Javascript and WebGL to make us mine slavers?
Post by: remotemass on April 06, 2013, 02:54:49 PM
There are rumors that some websites are using WebGL to turn our computers into mining slaves while we are visiting their sites. Do you believe that? Is facebook also doing it, behind the curtains?

No because you can see when your GPU usage increases.  People would notice, and there would be a backlash for Facebook trying to use users' computers without their consent.
