Guy sent me a half of writing payment to me, as he decided I still need a bit of work on the article, but somehow the payment he sent me is just not confirming. I suspect it's low fees.. here is the transaction.

The fee is 5.2 satoshi / byte, meaning extremely low.
Somebody with 35 sat / byte is already waiting for more than 16h, you could have searched a little.
The mempool size is big for quite some time now: btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx

And small red flag: last time I've seen such tiny fee, the sender did that because he wanted to (and did) double spend, so please be careful.

due to very low transaction fees and high number of unconfirmed transactions on bitcoin  network I think your transaction will take a longer time to confirm.
currently there are over 40000 unconfirmed transactions

Might as well push[1] that one as well, let me know when its confirmed please so I know when to stop.

[1] Use my node to keep broadcasting the transaction into the network so it is not forgotten.

Thanks. The guy I'm receiving payment from looks like a decent guy and probably won't scam me, but if he does at least it'll be harder for the transaction to get out of the mempool and/or double-spend the payment. In normal times this would've been confirmed by now, but these are not normal times :)
