Title: Re: Has anyone dealt with UFOminers Post by: Theneogeo on November 24, 2016, 06:54:13 AM I assume so as well... Fucking bloody hell...
https://www.bitmain.com/ I assume is main one? Anywhere else that is confirmed to be GOOD lol Title: Re: Has anyone dealt with UFOminers Post by: mocacinno on November 24, 2016, 07:41:46 AM I assume so as well... Fucking bloody hell... AFAIK, you have 2 big, legit, companies selling ASIC's:I assume is main one? Anywhere else that is confirmed to be GOOD lol https://www.bitmain.com/ with their antminer product line https://canaan.io/ with their avalon product line bitmain is more or less known for cheaper hardware, especially when looking at the power draw per Gh/s or the cost per dollar per Gh/s. They are also known for having bad customer support and having product lines that fail easily. Canaan is more or less known for being a little more costly, but having good customer support and sturdy hardware. With new gambling sites, you can check if they are provably fair, but there isn't a way to verify anything with new cloud mining sites.
You can check out this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0 to check out the most trusted cloud mining sites. However, keep in mind that the thread is not updated regularly anymore, so new sites won't be covered. Yes bitmain is trusted name in the field of bitcoin mining hardware, their latest antminer S9 series is most efficient bitcoin miner available till now. However there is no any S9 available right now to buy from them. :( https://www.bitmain.com/ I assume is main one? Anywhere else that is confirmed to be GOOD lol AFAIK, you have 2 big, legit, companies selling ASIC's: Haven't checked canaan before or even haven't heard about them, thanks for info i will check them also it seems they are still shipping 6 th/s miner for <$900 which i think is good price.https://www.bitmain.com/ with their antminer product line https://canaan.io/ with their avalon product line bitmain is more or less known for cheaper hardware, especially when looking at the power draw per Gh/s or the cost per dollar per Gh/s. There used to be a couple other good companies, but AFAIK, those two are the two only reliable producers that are still producing ASIC's at this moment. About canaan: the 6 th/s miner is their new product, there was a quick review on this forum, but i can't find the link anymore. You could potentially buy an avalon 6 on this forum, it'll probably be a lot cheaper now. From what i've read, the AvalonMiner 721 is less energy efficient as the antminer S9, and more expensive, but it's very well built and the company actually seems to care about it's customers (i'm not a miner b/c my electricity rate is waaaaay to high, so this is all info i've read on this forum myself) Title: Re: Has anyone dealt with UFOminers Post by: ViktarSV on May 12, 2017, 10:58:29 AM UFOminers are real crooks and deceivers. :)
Title: Re: Has anyone dealt with UFOminers Post by: swogerino on May 12, 2017, 01:39:06 PM Any cloud mining website nowadays is scam except Hashnest or Genesis Mining, these are the only 2 legit but the problem with these 2 is you will never make any ROI with them. Hashnest is better as you can sell your hash power later and get out by at least minimizing the losses. Any other cloud mining website which has not real hardware, not real pictures or videos of them doing mining like Genesis Mining have is scam.
I am not saying to invest in Genesis or Hashnest because it is not worth it and you will lose money during the longer period of time. UFOminers I would call at first sight after hearing their names, UFO-s do not exist, so I guess it will be the same with UFOminers after a few months from now.
