Just build your reputation here, give good advices, be honest, do succesful negociations and people will start trusting you.

If you want to give a feedback, click the name of the person you want to give it, so click in "Trust", and next click in "Post new feedback", or scroll down your page, write on the blank square and fill the spots with the necessary informations.

In order to gain positive trust you usually have to engage in trades with users from DT1 or DT2 (default trust). It is explained in this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0). Make sure that you read the OP and the discussion.

and also how to give a feedback?
You go to someone's trust list, e.g. mine (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=101872) and scroll down until you see this:

Simple, but how does one go about removing negative trust?

Step one is to stop being a scammer, but in your case that's gonna be highly unlikely.  You probably bought your account, am I right?  You bought it with the old scammer tag along with it?  I LOL'ed whilst viewing your trust page, because while your account is well-aged, you're still a noob.

OP, just be a productive member of this forum and don't worry about getting trust.  Why does it concern you, anyway?  That's what other people are wondering even if they don't ask it.  A lot of people around here want to get trusted in order to scam, so your question is suspicious.

Let it come, any other way of pushing for it just screams potential issue later on. If you follow any of the drama on this forum it is usually because of the trust and who trusts who.
Would rather just stay clear of it but that is just my take on it. You want to get into the knife in the back tactics that they play on each other,by all means get that trust green.
You stick around here long enough you know it is a overrated system.

Talk to who gave you negative trust, maybe you can solve the issue friendly. In some cases, people do illegal activities here like promote Ponzi HYIP schemes, so it's harder to remove the negative feedback, but you can try anyway.

But the best thing to do is to stay away from all illegal activities, follow the rules and you avoid from a desnecessary headache.

A curious question, are there ways in which people can give a negative trust for no good reason? Let's say you trading and someone wants to purchase something from you but wants it at a lower price but you refuse and now the person gives you a negative trust. Is this possible and if so is there any way to resolve such an issue?
Thanks.

That's not a valid reason to give someone a negative trust rating IMO (assuming that this story is true). Is their rating visible by default, i.e. are they on DT1 or DT2? If not, then don't be bothered by it. People that are not trusted by default tend to leave all sorts of bad ratings.

This should possibly be split into another thread.

the admins chooses who will be on depth 1 IIRC and users from depth 2 will be chosen by the users in depth 1

I do not know but I know how to gain red trust:
It is very easy:
Ask for investors.
Reward your investors and explain the rewards come from advertising...
You will find people trusting you red...
And  if you say the red trusters are wrong...
You get more red trust...
It is so easy...
Once you have paid back all your investors with profit...the red trusters are vanished and you stay taken for a scammer...
So is life on this forum...and the red trusters are called "respectable members".(lol)

i don't know if there are such cases but i remember someone selling his account/s that is on default trust list (not sure if he is serious about that or just want to scam). i just forgot the name of the user

It has happened before. Most people likely get found out or are removed if they abuse the feedback system however. I found one account a long time ago that was purchased and it was immediately removed by theymos once I told him about it.

So its a buddy system ?

Well you could call it that. It's more of a reputation system. Add those you've done trades with or somewhat trust. I think it works well in most situations but like any feedback system it isn't perfect.

I'd find someone on default trust to trade with. Once businesses is conducted, leave each other positive feedback.

How to gain positive trust in bitcointalk forum??  :-\ and also how to give a feedback?

Those people trade and do business in the forum so they gain trust from people they deal with. If you intend to build a reputation, I think you should start dealing with some services and products on marketplace of the forum.

You have to be good at making people understand what you're saying to them a proper way to make them truth you like they need help you must give them a very good advice then they will admire you and give you a positive trust but ease up on that and you must be a good person to people in bitcoin talk always have the kindness impact to when you reply :D give them what they need so that you will earn some trust from them the more trust you get the more people in bitcoin talk trust you and you can easily apply on once's campaign for that matter you will not get rejected on a campaign but just be careful some people here is kinda weird they report you with no reason >.<

Good question bro. I think you can not remove negative trust from someone, until you can convince someone who give you negative trust that you are not wrong

Don't trade purely for the sake of gaining trust. That only leads to the opposite of what you want - people might look down on you for trust farming, which is pretty highly discouraged.
But then you might ask, "how do i get green trust then?" and there really isn't a true answer to this. You most likely won't get it if you want it (without a ton of work and dedication to the forum and community as a whole) by just spam-trading. It takes time... and it's likely that you'll rack up a cool collection of red trust as well (untrusted, of course, by scammers and such).
