LOL greedy AMD as... I mean miners, could not even start proper topic, but as we need vote for a greed, we all know the results

don`t think Claymore have the size of the ass for all the ass lickers

owww someone need to start a topic how to kill the fee for same, I bet you all of them would just die for it, even if its just ~2%  ;D

Frankly if possible I would like to use some improvement in dual ETH miner
Thank you so much for your awesome work.

i think claymore already knows how much/many are supporting him by looking at his wallet address hash rate..but nonetheless a poll would help

No. And we should help him to stop by making a donation hack like for optiminer

No. And we should help him to stop by making a donation hack like for optiminer

He deserves at least 90 days of fees.

After that he could lower them.

And after 180 days end them on Zec coin.

There is a limit to full speed perfect software for Zec coin.

And claymore is getting close to it.

As for fee retirement it is fair but I am sure he would think differently.

My basis is. He did say 100 or 200 hours of work .  His risk was the coin could crash and die.

So let's say 200 hours of coding is worth 20000 to 40000.

Don't you think in 90 days he will earn far more then that?

As a miner I may have roi in say 150 days if lucky.

And my risk was 28 gpus and mobos etc. so say 7k .

My mining is not the same for the game as his coding.   But my roi is far longer then his will be.

Well its up to him since its his software.

But I looked at his flypool account some time ago and was making $1'000 day plus what nano pool was bringing in so that was possibly 2k a day then.  Now it is probably a bit less but he could be making $30k a month.

He could make that 30-40k in the first month but if he goes for 90 days then that could be $100k or about $500 hour for his coding.  That is some crazy money but if it was me I would want to make as such as possible.  When it comes to money, there is never enough

My opinion: Botnet masters (or nVidia owners) blame on Claymore in dropping their profits :)

Hi Folks,

I think Claymore did his best, to get his miner as close to the physics of the cards-arcitectures as possible.

I guess, there is not very much headroom left for optimizations.

Letīs say "thank you Claymore" !

... just my 2 cents.

I'm nvidia owner but i don't blame Claymore! He is doing a great job. I wish he will also add suppor for NVidia too.
It would be the best ou of both worlds..If someone can do it then claymore!

That is right. Claymore should continue building the new miners. So the home miners will have a chance to contribute.

for nvidia check out nicehash miner with the new EQM optimization (http://www.cryptominingtalk.com/zcash-miners/), should be the best so far.  If you cant vote, idk why, maybe newbies cant have a say.  thanks all for voting, this thread has been fun.

I just want Nvidia support on any pool with the type of miner that Claymore produces, The NH one is ok but if you want to use Nvidia/ZEC on Windows on any pool, options are limited.

Personally in regards to Claymores development work, I just wish he would update the XMR miners for both CPU and GPU :D

Making the miner faster doesn't result in more profits as most miners use his miner anyways, so if everyone updates the profit stays the same and who didn't upgrade goes obsolete.

I think we need to not think how much he can make off the dev fee, if it pays him well then good, if it does not then I'm concerned.  Continued support for current alts hopefully ensures him to work on the next big thing.  He's done an amazing job as is, let's not scare him away.

That is right. He give small miners a chance to earn some money and compete with the larger mining farms.

I say keep it up, you know there's a mining farm with in-house dev's doing what he's doing to make the most of it. We don't have that individual luxury unless you're a highly talented programmer.

The only thing I'd say is can you make us a linux distro like BAMT?

He did damn good... just leave him his devfee as long as he wants it or use another miner.
Thought about that he could have raised the devfee while raising the mining speed for us? 10% more for us .. 1% more for him... but he didnīt.

Because of his work "everyone" gets way more than 2% ... compared to before.

I know everyone uses his miner and everyone think speed boost does nothing for profit
BUT
There are some powerful private miners and only big farms can buy them from dev.
They are improving those big farms speed but our speed doesn't increase. Do u guys aware of the recent rise in hash rate?

So claymore should contine DEV work on ZEC.

It does not matter if you or I vote yes or no. It is not binding. The AMD cards are better for mining in the past.

He supported Nvidia before. It is better for him to concentrate on the AMD now as that is used by most people.

he should focus on nvidia now, at this point there is really no more improvement for amd and if there is it must be very minimal

on the other hand he can deliver a 250 sol miner for a 1070 easily, that mine on all pool instead of being locked to nicehash

Yes, he should release a linux version.  It's funny because when zec was about to launch everybody with windows was complaining because it looked like most of the software was going to be linux based.  As it turns out it was better to have a windows machine afterall :-\

That is right. He gives the small home miner a chance to mine the ZCash. Otherwise, it is only for the botnet or big farms.

That could be the reason why the ZEC price has not crashed to $10. Small miners tend to hold the coin longer.

He deserves at least 90 days of fees.

My mining is not the same for the game as his coding.   But my roi is far longer then his will be.

He's already earned $40k, how do you math? His fee structure earns him $1000s every day.
