It's fine by me if ETH will experienced a more price decrease. I don't want to buy at the current rate especially the price movements these past days is not that amusing. Since ETH is a manipulation I would probably wait for it to have it's price much cheaper before buying.

That's how altcoin price works and just do some playing with them.

It will be more cheaper than your speculation price and it is really good to buy ethereum because of the cheaper price but im waiting for more to be decrease and buy lots of ethereum and stocked them to make profit when the price gonna boost or increase.

Bearish market is starting on most altcoin do exist  because of gradual increase on bitcoins price. In the case of ETH it really tends to go down no matter what the reason because all of alts will come to a particular price point no matter how good it is,just like what others said the trajectory will be still the same.FOr me i wont still buy eth on the current price i will wait for the lowest price :)

i will for sure buy a lot when price hit 5$!...maybe can hit even 2-3$..some big players make huge money,but right now somebody lost like crazy...

People who are looking to get into ethereum should wait till it settles down. Investing into it right now is not a good idea and we don't know what the support level is. I don't expect it to crack below 5 USD. But it is always good to wait and buy when ETH stabilize .

That could be a good plan if the price of ETH does not drop below $5. It seems there is no end of the drop in sight.

Zcash? Ethereum offers something different compared to other altcoins, so it is unlikely that its place will be taken up by another altcoin.
Zcash currently has a market cap which is 1% of Ether's market cap.  :)

there ain't much reason why it shouldn't be 80c or 8c either. it's all nothing but market games. there's no intrinsic value or any type of value. it's an experiment. same goes for bitcoin of course but there's at least a little something underpinning the value.

You cant compare ETH to ZCASH since the difference is huge and you cant compare a new and an old altcoin. Price decrease are normal for an altcoin theres nothing to be shocked about this news.Ive seen ETH development since in the beginning  they suffer some problems but they could able to survive it and now its still kicking. Lowering price of eth is not a shocking news anymore.

ethereum was once worth 0.001BTC which was about $0.4 if i am not mistaken about bitcoin price back then, and we are headed that way back to the real value of ETH and what it should really be worth after this huge bubble that it experienced.

i believe we are not going to see that low price but at least something around $1 or so is where we might end up eventually. but it may take some time because of the residual resistance.

Its at $8.35 right now. Many people are discourage and dumping eth. Thats why it drops at $8.30. But this is still good. This is the right time to buy ethereum because its cheap. This ctypto is still good to me. The last time i saw it was $8, then its $8.35. I guess this will rise again. Eth is not dead yet. It still alive. We will see that in a week.

I doubt if this is the time to buy Ethereum, I will wait until the team get it right and the network becomes stable, four successive hard fork and the network is still not stable what do we know will be the problem after this next hard fork

Well, for me thats a good thing. Ethereum now are cheaper, so this is the right time to buy some eth. There still potential for eth to pump again because it rise a little bit. I think this is a goid sign. Just wait for the devs to fix all the errors and make it stable. If the devs wont figure it out, then its time for us to move on because the attack will happen over and over again.

i believe that ethereum will be pumped again and it may not be that far away. and bitcoin being stable will always help the pumps in altcoin market since investors want to invest their money into something that is rising and they will join in, besides the ethereum whales are not done with pumping it yet.

so it is best if we wait for the bottom to get in if anyone wants to get in.

the mega pump has been and gone and can't happen again. there will be further pumps but the returns won't be very impressive and the possibility of losing your money is gonna be higher. great for serious traders but the little guy might be wiped out.

Big whales have already started to take profit on their ETH above 10 dollars and are now holding to their bitcoin. It looks like no altcoin can rise together with bitcoin and all of them have already started to drop. I am waiting for ETH to reach 5 dollars before selling them for a short term rebound. It will happen if bitcoin rises to 1000 dollars soon.

Vitalik today said that all repaired, now that network is operating normally, even a bit faster. And may soon be next bultrap or as usual in recent times is a precision vice versa.

At the moment it is looking a little bit better for ETH.
The state cleaning Vitalik pulled through is done and it really seems to have had a positive outcome.
The price has already started to climb again during the last few hours after his announcement.

But bad news if ETH has an equal price with XMR. The competition between XMR and ETH it's really strict.

All altcoins are bound to get dumped by big bag holders to newbies for high profits. The only hope is bitcoin. Bitcoin should be accumulated for long  term as bitcoin will be adopted by people around the world and it will create a massive rally in the price of bitcoin in the coming years.

It probably won't be under $8. A lot of users still have its bag and i myself own few hundreds of ETH that i still kept on storage. if i have some extra, i may even buy more of it.

I wouldn't say that the new rising of ETH has already started but at least the falling has stopped. I don't know about buying it now is a good idea or not. IMO it can stabilize around 0.012 for a long period of time from now, so if buying now you wouldn't be able to sell it with profit.

Let us hope more companies will use the Ethereum for the smart contract.

i would love another pump just as much as the other guy.
but with the recent bitcoin price rise which was another $40 (right now it is $777.7) i don't see ethereum being able to recover any time soon since it usually drops when BTC goes up.

Most alts are losing in price, but it really concers me that that ETH is doing way faster than the others.

Agree that eth has reached more realistic values at this point and may still continue to take a beating but the situation is only exacerbated by bitcoin speculation.

Come January, ailing alts should recover at least 10% of today's fiat value, before moving firmer against bitcoin. so you can wait for better prices but you shouldn't worry if you are buying now either.

On ETH in near future we can expect the bull market. Problems will be resolved fully. I do not recommend opening any positions in margin trading, and wait for signals from developers.

How near is the near future? A week may be a long time in the crypto-world.
Ethereum might have its problems, but it occupies a niche space without any serious competition.

That will at least a few months away. There is no good news about the Ethereum development in the next few weeks.

there has never been any good news about ethereum apart from all the hype and fake pumps and i think the reason why the whales of ethereum has been silent (as you can see by the activity of their shills on the forum) is that they know it is pointless at this point because nobody is interested in buying it.
they may be holding it off for when bitcoin stopped being too hot as it is right now.

With this news lot of people got the cheap ETH. As it happens already half a year, each piece of news only that you sold your ETH, and then bought it more expensive.

So there is a possibility that the ETH price will rise soon? It is not profitable to mine the ETH at the moment.

Its so bad to see a good project going down even though its the rejoice of many. I came to know about ETH when it was wavering between 11$ and 12$ and I was even seeing it as a close alternative with Bitcoin even with some gambling site accepting it. But I cannot say the same again and the blame from me will be on the developers, I may bewroing though who might have abandoned it with the be neccessary support and move to something else. But its actually good for investors and speculators who will want to buy low and sell high if it eventually bounce back...

the problems will never be resolved fully. it's too darned complex and i'll bet the developers can't keep up with the new holes that keep appearing. there's definitely money to be made but i don't expect much of an actual future for it. its ideas might spawn something that actually gets the job done some say.
