Title: BTC/LTC chaingames list
Post by: Yurkov on April 07, 2013, 06:50:27 PM
So I've been looking around for various Bitcoin gem betting sites, and I've found quite a few. I'll summarize them below ranking on how popular they are, and what the rates are.

Bitcoin chaingames
  • Bitcoin gem (http://www.bitcoingem.com/): Most popular, 25% profit, 1.5625% reset
  • Bit Bears (http://bitbears.com/): Very popular, 35% profit, 2% reset
  • The Orb (http://theorb.biz/): Very popular, 30% profit, 1% reset
  • Satoshi Diamond (http://satoshidiamond.org/): Pretty popular, 25% profit, 0% reset, 50% cash-back on reset
  • Coin Bomb (http://www.CoinBomb.com/aff17U2LQRbraFsogr1ZUFqDD3nSLP7vV3tqC): Pretty popular, various profits, various resets

  • BTC crown (http://www.bitcoincrown.com/): Somewhat popular, 20% profit, 1.5% reset
  • Pixel coin (http://www.pixelco.in/): Somewhat popular, different profits, no resets, requires account
  • BTC Sword (http://www.bitcoinsword.com/): Not too popular, 35% profit, 0.05% reset
  • Bit Pimp (http://bitpimp.chaingames.net/): Not too popular, 100% profit, 1% reset
  • BTC Gold Coin (http://www.btcgoldcoin.us/): Not too popular, 40% profit, 1% reset
  • OMG Dergy (http://omgdergy.chaingames.net/): Not too popular, 35% profit, 5% reset
  • BTC gold bar (http://bitcoingoldbar.com/): Not too popular, 10% profit, 3.125% reset
  • BTC Babe (http://btcbabe.com/): Not too popular, 90% profit, 0% reset
  • Bit King (http://thebitking.com/): Not too popular, 18% profit, 3% reset
  • Bit kitty (http://bitkitty.net/): Not too popular, 30% profit, 0% reset

  • Coin Bomb (http://coinbomb.tk/): Not too popular, 50% profit, 6% reset

Litecoin chaingames
  • Bit Potato (https://bitpotato.com/): Somewhat popular, different profit rates
  • Litecoin Owl (http://l8.lv/): Somewhat popular, various rates, various resets
  • Coin Bomb (http://www.CoinBomb.com/aff17U2LQRbraFsogr1ZUFqDD3nSLP7vV3tqC): Somewhat popular, various profits, various resets
If I forgot some, please notify me about it and I'll edit this post.

Here is another list with more, less popular chaingame sites: http://chaingames.net/games-list/

I've been playing around a lot with these, once I started with about 0.50 BTC, and ended up with 2.13 BTC which is still growing. These sites are a great way to increase your amount with a low chance of losing a small amount of it. Have fun!

Here's a list of some games: http://chaingames.net/games-list/ (http://chaingames.net/games-list/)

Nice list you have there, this type of game is new to me.
Just being honest here but it feels a touch scammy (isnt all gambling) but Im not quite sure why.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but these games are not provably fair are  they ?

Its provably fair, chaingames were one of the first bitcoin gambling methods that I came across to. I've won a lot of bitcoins using these. It's easy to win bitcoins here, if the chaingame itself is popular. And you can always look back at the address itself and the hash'. Like it says in all the FAQ's, if you dont trust it, then dont play.

I also think it's a little bit of people playing more when the stakes are low. Now that the popular ones have pretty high stakes (~1BTC) people are probably unlikely to play until it resets. Especially with the rapidly increasing prices. I played the orb and I know I'm gonna hold off on these until it resets.

Hi,

A fairly new one for the list is
http://satoshidiamond.org/ (http://satoshidiamond.org/)

25% profit, NO random reset, 50% refund if no-one buys after you, 6 hour games.
Site Admin is a forum member, and responsive

ok guys, some BIG CHANGES just uploaded to coinbomb.com (http://coinbomb.com)

The site now uses PUSH notifications. That means bomb updates/drops will be near instant. No more missing bomb drops, and needing to refresh.

NEW BOMB : GROUP BOMB

We all know these type of games have a ceiling - the value of the bomb just gets too high, and no one buys. NOT ANYMORE.

Players pool their funds together to buy the bombs, so (for instance) 3 players can buy at a level, and all get the same % profit on their investment. Check out the FAQ for more details.

Bombs start as normal, and then become group buys as they get too high. Watch the Saturation / Carpet bombs.

Thank you for maintaining this list. Many have copied word for word text/design and layout we have at the original www.bitcoingem.com (http://www.bitcoingem.com)

However, as you noted, we are the most popular and maintain the most action.  We recently added a counters for these incredible stats:

1149 Buyers who have owned the gem
808.33 BTC total paid out

Thank for all that play and make the site successful.  The more that play, the larger the gem value gets and the greater the profit for all!

I think the reason most of the chain games are a word for word copy is because there's a chain game maker out there that you put a few words and variables in and it spits a chain game out for you.

Thats right, I have seen that.  Its a carbon copy of our original site.  We have made tweaks and upgrades to distiguish ourselves and have larger projects in the pipeline.

However for players, playing on the sites with the most traffic is the least amount of risk, and for that reason we remain the leader in chain games.

Last night we released phase 1 of our site upgrades!

We have added:

1. A leaderboard that shows all time, 60 day and 14 day most expensive gems and leaders (as well as their advertising)
2. a new layout for the FAQ and previous owners lists.
3. A change to the random reset:

Price < 0.25 = 1 in 32 chance of a reset
0.25 < Price < 0.5 = 1 in 64 chance of a reset (this is what all transactions are set to currently)
Price > 0.5 = No Random Resets

Now there's a bit more incentive to buy the gem as it gets more expensive, while the early levels are still free money the vast majority of the time.

4. Change to the inactivity reset time of the gem.  Instead of 24 hours it is now 18.

We have another phase of upgrades coming in a few weeks that will also include layout and design upgrades and a captcha to prevent bots.

We strive to always improve the quality of our game play and player experience and continue to keep the site the leader in chaingames.

Thanks to all the players and any feedback would be appreciated as always. Good luck.

We have just relaunched the Gigaton and Gigajoule bombs for a single round! They will also go through the regular group bomb conversion so you can pool funds together with other players to profit even more.

100% Profit on both bombs!

I contend that theorb.biz is not provably fair. (This problem may be more wide-spread, but this is one example.)

Bummer, this was an unlucky purchase.

I've been playing with theorb.biz for a long time already, and I personally know the owner as well. From what I can tell it's perfectly provably fair. If you have doubts about certain things, like this transaction for example, you should mail the site owner. The owner is a very understanding person.

They all seem relatively fair to me.
As to whether the general public buys into
any sort of auction/drop-bucket gambooling,
I'm not sure. There will be skeptics.

they're updating their site most likely, and idk about the last owner but if not you should mail him and you'll get refunded. Usually that happens automatically

theorb isn't working, needs to be removed from the top of this list. Also it looks like the last person wasn't refunded

Looks like theorb is back up although the last person was timed out despite it being out of commission.

Can you guys confirm what typically happens when these sites go down?  That's one reason I have been avoiding them, the worry that if it ever did get bid up to 1btc the owner would just shut it down.

I mailed him a couple of days ago about my chained transaction, and have not received any response.
