Additional general tips to stay safe when working with any coin:
  1) Always install all wallets for coins on a standalone system or in a sandbox environment.
2) Always move coins to offline wallets (cold storage) and keep only a minimum in a hotfile. A Hotfile is the wallet.dat currently on your PC in the normal location ..\roaming\coinname\wallet.dat | ~/.coinname/wallet.dat. Offline or cold storage is when you copy your main wallet.dat with your coins in it to a USB stick/(s) and remove the wallet.dat from your PC. Offline or cold storage is also sending your coins to a paper wallet.
3) If you are uncomfortable with a Windows wallet then don't use a Windows wallet but compile and use a Linux wallet.

X11 PoW/PoS
Name: JaneCoin
JANE
Time blocks: 360 sec.
Block reward: 900
Halving rate : 1000000
Premine: 14% - development
Total coins: 2100000000
PoS: Yearly Interest 30 %
Min.Coin age: 1day
Max age: 20 days
RPC Port: 13412
P2P Port: 13413

Ridiculous amount of premine (294000000 so 986 days of mining worth of premine), pointlessly slow block times and moderated thread.

Title: Re: JaneCoin
Post by: Belligerent Fool on November 30, 2016, 12:02:30 AM
Please be careful everyone, there seems to be an ongoing phase of Newbie accounts creating shitcoin after shitcoin and injecting hidden remote trojans inside them, they wait & watch until you open whatever Bitcoin related material you have and then they work their sticky fingers on everything they can grab.

This coin may not be virus infected but from a Jr.Member account from 2011 & self moderated thread the signs don't look good.

Are you guys serious... ? Literally after I told you what is happening with the frequency of Remote Trojans being placed in new coins to catch the unsuspecting users who thing they are making heaps of money solo mining but are actually letting the attacker gain access to your computer.

The detected Virus/Trojan is: Win32.Trojan.WisdomEyes.16070401.9500.9548

Just look at the name of it "WisdomEyes" obviously they will be using their eyes on your computer.

If you were that interested in the coin you would of already read the 40 odd posts in the 3 pages that have been posted so far and most of them is about the Remote Trojan (VIRUS)

There is even confirmation of a Trojan/Virus from other High Ranking Members with Positive trust and you are yet to acknowledge the advice we have given....

It can be wrong but it shows virus....

Why are you posting this ? You are clearly only scanning the roaming directory of the coin and spreading around reassurance when there is proof of a backdoor program hidden inside.... The Source/Windows Wallet Contains the embedded Trojan/Virus, of course it isn't going to show up if you scan that directory ::)

It can be wrong but it shows virus....

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/243ef016d0490e4bd4a60307ae2560e2bf83a50c69b891445abc22b7fb4b279e/analysis/1480476997/ (https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/243ef016d0490e4bd4a60307ae2560e2bf83a50c69b891445abc22b7fb4b279e/analysis/1480476997/)
I think it is false positive. Using wallet and clean for me.

For comparison, here is a scan of a ratloader and what files it can contain and look who we have in the list ::) https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/3130c481c39e0b228bfeb939559b11c60ac1c4878fbd3ed6e102ed1cc238099d/analysis/1476533485

So this coin gets added to Cryptopia Exchange even though there is this ^^^ inside the coin.... Poloniex or Bittrex would never add if it has that kind of crap inside it, let's just hope Cryptopia is Sandboxing this wallet.

Yeah, all wallets are individually sandboxed, and we strip out a lot of code before compiling.

Also to note, compiling the linux wallet from source was clean, so I suspect its the Windoze wallet as usual

They should atleast wait to rebrand if they do decide to do that. Do it later when coin value decreases so you can get those people who will buy because of name change hype.

Man top traded with 81 trades. Cryptopia really needs to do a campaign to bring in users. Cryptopia could be a good exchange if people would just quit going to shit like that mega place.

I see there is a Cryptopia 2.0 Signature that is going around which could either mean users are getting paid to post with it or they are just trying to bring attention individually.

After seeing the way the Owner/s of the exchange treat coins they don't like and anyone affiliated with them which results in a ban from the exchange whenever they feel like and for whatever reason they want to dish out at the time it has been going downhill ever since....

Also take note that even if you bought Cryptopia shares at 1BTC each and invested into their site handing over all your personal information, you could and probably will eventually get a lifetime ban of 999999999999999 minutes crap ::) I have seen it before many times and even other users commenting on the situation with "But they are Cryptopia share holders" and the response is "I don't give a crap they are fucktards".....

"JR" thinks this is absolutely ridiculous to treat the people (Customers) that put their trust into you and you turn around and stab them in the back..... CRYPSTY !!!!!! MINTPAL !!!!

Also a little P.S: I noticed that Cryptopia Shares are now 0.05BTC each instead of the 1BTC so many bought their shares at, all they offer is a bunch of little icons next to your name :o Until you are banned :-X

You really want people to trade there ? YoBit has a better reputation with ICO's and much more daily volume hahahahaha

P.P.S: You say you can buy coin listings, pools, faucets, tip bots, etc with DOT.... Don't get me started on DOT and who instamined the crap out of it then took it over as their own coin when it's just another shitcoin, I wonder who holds the most ::)

And..... And..... And..... If you look at DOT & Cryptopia's Logo they are the same obviously and then upon doing a Google search I found the "EXACT" same logo used by a different company preceding Cryptopia......

End Opinion.

Jimmy

The more exchanges this coin is listed on the more it will take to increase the price on each market platform, also if the Windows Qt wallet contains a Trojan Virus then you are enabling the users who are blind to get hacked as most users who see a coin download a windows wallet..... You expect people to compile their own without infections or even use Linux.... ::)

Why cant this me maryjane coin?

Can we do a rebranding and go weed focused?

They should atleast wait to rebrand if they do decide to do that. Do it later when coin value decreases so you can get those people who will buy because of name change hype.

that's thinking ahead. I like your style bro.

Has anyone tried compiling from source the easy way: Linux?

It is not that easy, although it compiles. But start the daemon: ./JaneCoind

nothing, it waits, and waits, like it is mining 1000 genesis blocks.

I had the idea of seeing if a root directory had been created.

It had, complete with a JaneCoin.conf. This is what it gave me:

Code:
JaneCoin.conf

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=U3wU0Uk8pVhTEze
rpcport=13412
port=13413
#(0=off, 1=on) daemon - run in the background as a daemon and accept commands
daemon=0
#(0=off, 1=on) server - accept command line and JSON-RPC commands
server=0
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
testnet=0

This is a first for me, and taking a look at the github, there are a few differences.

checkpoints.cpp
main.h (main.h 962-95)
init.cpp

The compile gave me another first for a "warning" message:

Code:
warning: comparison of unsigned expression >= 0 is always true [-Wtype-limits]
         if (nHeight >= 0 || fTestNet)
                        ^

That is with every object file compiled.

I downloaded the complete root directory, as it intrigued me. Plus the source code. Plus a copy paste of my compile.

This coin has no website, no explorer, so how did it get on Cryptopia? Even Yobit asks for an explorer. Cryptopia had until recently rejected numerous coins on premine, website or lack of explorer.

I will leave this wee thing up for a day before removing everything, so you can see the difficulty, if anyone is staking, etc. It is a simple rpc explorer (does not recognize Hybrid, it is PoW or PoS, so I put PoS, but it makes no difference ... PoW blocks start  with a few 00000s, PoS do not).

http://46.101.142.215/ (http://46.101.142.215/)

I made it a hideous color for a piece of shit scam coin.

By the way, the daemon started when I made a normal ".conf"

I also removed (to my desktop) all the files in the root directory, and started it with just my revised JaneCoin.conf sitting in the root directory.

7178   24ef0dcc0938a2ee ...   7.78   22:07:10 2017-Jan-03   2 · 500759.78

that was initially a block containing atleast 1000000 coins. when this block staked it halved so it took 1 block and and turned it into 2 with the interest split among them both.

Each time you stake a block that block breaks into 2. Since the new block is a new transaction you see the entire block amount and because the total of the first block has been split in half it too must be reconfirmed.

I dont know what the pos rate is like since i dont hold any but stake was more of 1519.37

JaneCoin [JANE] is listed: https://yobit.net/en/trade/JANE/BTC …

JaneCoin Dice: https://yobit.net/en/dice/JANE

congrat  ;) ;)

No Way ! Funds where either raised for a JaneCoin listing on yobit or they're getting desperate.
Jane should be listed on Poloniex, it will be nice. compare with SIA coin's supply it has 22 billion so JANE is still good than it. we just waiting for some a good development from the dev.
