Received an invitation code from Jhanzo, probably the OP is still not online but when you come online I would like to know about the privacy on the website/forum, are the personal messages stored anywhere and accessed by anyone else except the user who sent/received it.

It is nice to see that you actually put a lot of effort, time and money into your forum.
From what you posted I can already see that your forum might be the most advanced cryptocurrency forum.
But the problem as always is not great expectations and goals but the way you deliver and make it happen.
If you really have big budget and are willing to *waste* it on promotional stuff then you might actually grab a piece of this cake.
Another interesting fact is that you are making this forum somewhat 'elite' by making it invitation only. It's a good idea to grab people's attention.

Personally I don't believe that your forum will be a revolution. I am waiting to see whether you will prove me wrong.

I get redirected to cryptoworld.is, I'm assuming that's the right website? Anyways I wasn't asked for a code and I got a message stating:

"Our systems detect that you may be a spammer and therefore you have been denied registration. If you feel this is a mistake, please contact the Administrator."

Am I missing something? Should I be adding one of these codes in to the who referred me section?

It looks like they have the exact same disclaimer as you so I'm assuming that other site is a phishing attempt.

This project looks promising. I would like to receive an invite code too. One thing that I have doubts about is the use of "Credit System" when the site topic is about cryptocurrency. Wouldn't it be better if the "Credit System" system is a cryptocurrency too - I mean altcoin? Just a suggestion since your forums is to discuss about cryptocurrency, what's the point to use the forums currency to do trading? Maybe just a central currency point for easier trading on the forums?

Got to say that's a very nice looking forum and it really has a shot on becoming popular. It's been years past the promised bitcointalk upgrade and nothing changes. Same issues, same boring looks... With the money theymos has we should be getting new features every month! A new forum managed by responsible and hard working people could flourish.

Not true, and not a good idea to start off misleading your users.    :-\

You don't use client side encryption for the messages - that means YOU, and anyone else that has access to the database, can read and modify all "private" messages.

Same as your "anonymous" like/dislike service - if you record those (which you admitted you do since you can view usage), then they are not anonymous, are they?

A forum will live or die based on the admin.  That is why this forum has thrived - Theymos is a trustworthy guy.  Only time will tell what kind of admin you will be.

Good luck.  Bitcoin could use an alternative forum.

Just registered for this new forum only had to search for a code that was still not used. Best to remove the codes that are already used. Also I am not that convicted at this moment if we really need a new Bitcoin forum. Most information that I want to know is also available here but that doesn't mean that you not could try to make a great new forum. Will for sure keep watching how this will involve the next few weeks.

Can you tell us what escrow is holding the $1,500 cash prize?  I'm not sure if you are aware, but we recently had a scammer who promised $50 for 35 posts, and a few people fell for it.




The "too much work" excuse is lame.  I'm sure you're aware there is a plug in that makes viewing private messages very easy.  There may be others as well.

Everything is very simple.

Why do you need another forum?

Bitcointalk is the BEST and most used Bitcoin and cryptocurrency forum out there.

I'm a member of this forum and it looks really promising. It is growing well and looks like it will soon be a great competitor to BCT

I have just registered an account and everything works fine up to now. The forum looks nice and clear for every user to understand what to do in the forum. What are you going to do to advertise and announce to people about this forum ? I have seen most of the forum collapse before it even starts

There's always a room for improvement. Bitcointalk is using an outdated software, that makes it difficult to track replies to your posts. Using the forum search function is like looking for a needle in a haystack and correct me if i'm wrong but the new forum has been in development for over 3 years. A full development of new software from the first idea, through coding, QA, to sales and advertising takes less.

Any update? I'm not seeing much post lately. I'm checking the forum once in a while just reading post I can't interact yet cause I'm still new to crypto . I can't share anything cause I don't have to share. But I'm eager to learn about it. Lots of knowledge already here in this forum but reading pages of quotes requotes is time consuming. That's why I really hope the new forum will rise.

So far, the project doesn't look like it's taking off too well. What is the selling point behind it? Why pick your forums over, say, BCT? These are the things you should be pushing to potential visitors.

You need to just keep adding a lot of new really good quality articles. Also if you can get some exposure through advertising and promotions.

Yeah. I registered there and every link i click is directed to ogclip.com and do the captcha. If its true that the owner sold his forum. Then i feel sorty for him. Some forum that been introduced to us is not able to maintain or survive due to lack of participants.

The site looks very bad on my smartphone..
I think it goes to the lite version automatically.

The idea itself looks pretty good.

To sign up on that forum you do not need to wait or get any invitation. You can easily sign up on that forum on clicking the link/button for registration. It is using the same software as all other forums and the system is like this forum.

I think the site run by Motivator is lost already. It now leads to another forum site but I doubt it is still the same site. Well obviously its name is even different so I didn't bother.
