Maybe it is just a coincidence that their symbol is women. The statue of liberty represents the friendship between nations and freedom from oppression and so it has no connection to the countries being corrupt.There is no connection between the statue and corruption.

Further, let us not discriminate women, remember the one who gave birth to us is a woman. So discriminating women is like saying we are the offspring of corrupt individual and like saying we are also a corrupt person.

I don't know of a single example to the country which was headed by a woman was a tyranny. But examples of successful management of many. Can a woman head of state is a good thing?

It's symbolism and those symbols were there before those nations became the forces they're now, somewhat. Serbia is a pretty corrupt country if you consider the politicians in it's top, and our symbol is on Kalemegdan, a naked dude on top of a stone pillar.
