Title: Cloud Mining Zcash is now profitable
Post by: Cavin.Me on December 01, 2016, 05:32:24 PM
At block 20000, Zcash Slow Start Mining has ended today. Now, at each block 10 ZEC will go to the miner. ZEC price is also indicating stability. It is settling down at ~0.1 BTC, making it the second most valued crypto per unit after Bitcoin. Global Solve Rate of Zcash Equihash is also settling ~40 Mega Sol/s.

In the conditions stated above, Zcash-Miner (https://www.Zcash-Miner.com), which is mining Zcash since Day 1 and published all payment proofs in Slow Start Mining phase, have slashed Solve Rate cost.

Solve Rate cost has been slashed to 0.00125 BTC/Sol/s on https://www.Zcash-Miner.com.

Thus, Cloud Mining Zcash is now profitable. :)

Nice info. Two important points to be mentioned here...

1. When the price of ZEC is going down, the Global Solve Rate is going down as well. Hence, Cloud Mining at fixed rate remains profitable.

2. I made a cost comparison between Genesis-Mining & Zcash-Miner. Read it below...

At Genesis-Mining,
260 Sol/s for one year cost 2699 USD, i.e. 3.59 BTC at current Preev rate.
Therefore, 10 Sol/s for one year cost 3.59/26, i.e. 0.138 BTC.

At Zcash-Miner,
10 Sol/s for three months cost 0.0125 BTC.
Therefore, 10 Sol/s for one year cost 0.0125*4, i.e. 0.05 BTC.

Hence, Genesis-Mining.com costs 0.138/0.05, i.e. 2.76 times higher than Zcash-Miner.com.

where it say that is monthly? the price is to expensive for beginners, and 10 sol will give you nothing, so you are fo rced to invest quite big at launch which is not convenient and too risky, they should do short terms instead of those long term if your months times are correct

Where did I say monthly? :o

Genesis-Mining.com is yearly (i.e. one year) and Zcash-Miner.com is quarterly (i.e. three months).

Nice comparison, But I don't think if they will get same number with his first investment.
Assuming With 10sols we can produce ZEC 0.001289 at the current price of btc you will get 0.00010btc a day equal btc. and 0.0001 * 30 = 0.003/Month. which mean you will get 0.036 a year.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/zec I don't think it have good accuracy.

I don't trust any of those guys even genesis mining, there is no way to verify their mining claims, and most of them are self serving, look at the Ethereum contract genesis sold, I don't think anybody made profit from that contract.

ZEC price against BTC is fluctuating a LOT. It is pretty much difficult to tell the future at this point.

Me thinks Zcash is too early to touch. The % of coins coming too market is way to high. Until that changes wont bother with it. At least on the disrtibution to investors on the 28th they did not dump or so it seemed they did not.

I think, both mines & investors dumped. Otherwise, price could not crash like this...

price crashed because it was a fake price due to the fake pump. this coin is not really offering anything good to make it worth 6-7BTC per coin. and as we keep seeing the price keeps declining and it is now down to 0.06BTC and is barely keeping up.

the dumps by the miners and investors is what speeds up the process not the main reason.
