Guys which exchange is better for you? Livecoin a almost dubble volume trade!👍🏼
Why guys so much like bittrex?

Maybe because this is the first time I have ever heard of Livecoin and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Bittrex is much more established, has way more coins and and after a quick look it seems Livecoin is way too simplistic compared to Bittrex.

I use livecoin and like it a lot! Livecoin have 500k $ more volume!

Poloniex.

Smaller coins dont go to poloniex from the beginning, but generally they will be at bittrex.
plus, bittrex is in the market for some time making it more trustable.

1 year ago before eth make poloniex big poloniex take any shit coin now they complain and dont add any!
But when eth drop to 1$ and big volume gone,then they may be like before!
We will see soon.

Yes fore sure everywhere ! Also bittrex or livecoin or poloniex,bitfinex!

That's why don't really quote volume from new and unknown exchange and say why is it not better than old established well known exchange.
Trust is an important factor. Just my opinion of course everyone has their own.

I have never used Livecoin and the exchange is new to me, but from record and my own experience Bittrex seems to have won the trust of many of her users, so there is no need to look for better exchange. I may try out Livecoin out

Between the two exchanges, I rather choose Bittrex.I think it bittrex is comparable to poloniex, big volume being traded  and more active traders.


Yes indeed, volume can be faked as they (devs) are also the ones buying or pumping their own coins. I think it can happen in all exchanges but it is more visible in Yobit when they start pumping. :D

Guys but livecoin is not a new exchange!

I've never used Livecoin, but I really don't like the format of Bittrex.
Something about the way the site looks is very unappealing to me.
It actually hurts my eyes.

In 2014 and one of the example the shit coin has got listed by poloniex. PELECOIN.... Funny coin.
Nope, they still have another big coin like XMR. I may think that will be difficult for down again like before ETH was making a big hype.
Bittrex was better than livecoin.

Livecoin is new in my ears and i didnt know that exchange do exist and i made a research about it but i could still say and choose bittrex between the two because its more established and regarding to trade volume it has the edge and somehow most traders and people do trade there thats why there no hesitation between the two. Its your choice though on which one would suits you.

since (like others have already mentioned) i am not so familiar with livecoin i have to say bittrex. and i have to say i have not chosen bittrex randomly. it is a good place, i like the rules (unlike poloniex) the engine is pretty good, the charts are awesome and they have a good API service.


first of all volume can be fake it is a number that exchanges report and also there are lots of way to fake it too.

but i suppose this higher volume is because of the BTC/USD and BTC/EUR pairs, remove those and you have no volume left (this two will remove $900,000 72% of the volume)

Yeah! They have big volume becouse btc/$  !
Same as have www.dabtc.com good china exchange but most tradic btc/yuan and sometimes they have 2-3 milion $ volume! 👍🏼

For Bitrex :
I don't really know where their fame for ICO came from, but most of the Alt Devs want to be listed here, regardless of the hight fee demanded for it. Beside of that, bitrex doesn't offer more features then usual exchanges, the support is active and this is good.
For Livecoin :
Never heard of this exchange before.
For volumes:
Yes they can be faked, it is not a secret, the volume information is stored in a database, so anyone with an admin password can change this information as she is retrieved using API calls. I don't say that Poloniex is Faking its volume, or that any other exchange do it, i just say that it is easy to do.
My prefered exchanges :
I like to use feature rich exchanges like Cryptopia or bter because they really bring something new to the exchange world. These are for clear net, i have no information about darknet exchanges because i never found one, and didn't really tried to find one.

if you are happy with an exchange service that you use then stick with it, there is no one forcing anyone to use any exchange many users around here like poloniex for some reasons i don't get but i prefer bittrex and i have been happily trading there for nearly two years without an issue.


Cryptopia: sometimes too many features is not good but i like their site and the features but the volumes are terrible.
bter: is scam. check the forum for their 7700BTC scam and they never paid back their customers and their volume apart from fake BTC/CNY is dead.

bittrex is where the dev list a coin where they plan to dump their premine. if the coin is only listed on bittrex, you better stay away from that coin, you'll only lose money with it. stick to the coins that is listed to major exchanges most likely listed on polo and the rest.

there is no doubt that bittrex is better it's an ancient well trusted exchange, i don't like some times that they list some shit coin just to dump and delist them after short time, but i would choose it any day over an unknown exchange, which seems that you are promoting in disguise, but maybe i'm wrong

Why only that two exchanges you consider? Care to share the reasons?

Currently Im only playing at Poloniex in terms of playing in those altcoin that really established a good volumes throughout the majority in the world of altcoin exchange site. Their features of removing those alts which established a low volume is the one that I like. I use Cryptopia on the other hand for those alts that not has listed yet on Poloniex. In terms of support, I can give them both a 5 ♣♣♣♣♣.

livecoin russian firm- it is more convenient to output in rubles, I think less reliable than bittrex, where large volumes

Bittrex is dying. There volume is below Bter. Plus they do not have fiat trading. Livecoin does twice the volume of bittrex. Not saying Bittrex is bad, the guys that own it are security guys so it safe.  But they are falling way behind for a reason.  Yobit even does more volume than bittrex most of the time.

I wouldn't judge an exchange based on volume.
It's very easy for the operators to fake trades to increase volume,
there have been accusations against many exchanges of doing this to make the site look more popular.

Plus the devs of a coin are often engaged in pumping their own coin to increase volume, even if they can't increase the price much.

Bittrex has been running for a long while while Livecoin just heard of it.
Maybe they are both as good but will let everyone make their own judgement.

bter.com is a proven scam exchange who stole money and it is currently a dead place that nobody even visits.
yobit is also a well known fake exchange with fake volumes, next time pay a visit to the site and check how stupidly and obviously they are pumpung a random dead coin with "fake" orders.

about bittrex i have to say in the past two years they have had between 600-1200 bitcoin daily volume each time i check the bottom bar at the bottom of the site and i do see any change in that you stats must be off :D

I personally still prefer bittrex over livecoin because bittrex has been around longer and has a more professional interface, more users in my opinion, a proven track record as well as a larger selection of trading pairs.

Nothing against livecoin, just my personal preference.

bittrex and poloniex is my favorite exchange  they have a long history especially poloniex

Bittrex has Gulden, livecoin doesn't. Gulden arguably the best alt coin in crypto now after 1.6.0 update. People are free to disprove me wrong and give examples. So yes Bittrex is better if you want the exchange with the best coin.

Indeed I never heard of Livecoin, I mainly use Bittrex and Poloniex like most of us.

And I just visited the site, I just stay with Bittex and Poloniex, I don't get a good vibe from Livecoin.

in fact, I prefer bittrex than livecoin. well. design owned by bittrex very easy to understand for beginners. besides, I have also been using bittrex. so, I trust the bitrrex, rather than livecoin. bittrex has provided me the experience, and the advantages, and I am still going to play there

I have seen how bittrex evolved, I am one of the early trader there when it was just started.  I never had any issue with bittrex though it might be biased if I say bittrex is better than livecoin because i have not used livecoin, so I think it depends on the user, though for my choice it is obvious, it is bittrex.

for me besides legit exchange it is also about the comfortable using the particular exchange and since i know cryptocurrency my options exchange for altcoins trading is bittrex,c-cex and poloniex and if i had to choose between livecoin or bittrex obviously my choose drop to bittrex

Even im new on trading i would still prefer bittrex because its reputable and been operating for longer days already and i didnt even heard about livecoins it maybe famous for someone but not for me. I will just stick to old ways since there are lots of exchanges out there and we i should bother to put up money on an exchange that i didnt heard of.

and there's also good volume inside bittrex so we can make big deals as well and like what you have said bittrex already established their name as a good reputable trading exchange and there's many investors and traders out there.

i did a lot of trades on bittrex with my vip account..and its was always ok..but i also did trades for 50-100btc on livecoin and all was ok all the time!

Well this is somehow a good news related to live coin since there are really users on that trading platform and as i can see you are trading with decent amounts of bitcoin there and you mentioned that all went smooth.Its up to an individual on which platform they would tend to trade.Both options are good just select on which you will prefer.

Im really checking out first the volume of coins that are being trade on a particular exchanges before i do use it just like what you said bittrex  had good volume which really indicated lots of people do make trade with them.Just like poloniex, bittrex is good too and also c-cex.

I use ccex when i see some nice price for some alt coins i trade non stop 👍🏼

Bittrex, cause Bittrex the first exchange thats i have use in my first trading and i know Livecoin and use Livecoin for my trading too, but Livecoin is not my main exchange for trading, yes i see Livecoin volume increase and many coin added in Livecoin too, for me Bittrex ui is more user friendly than Livecoin

So far I have had no problems using Bittrex. The site is easy to use and the support is active. I had heard of Livecoin before, but I had never used the service. Anyway, I will consider trading on Livecoin if I realize that there are good cryptos, and with good trading volume.

Ccex has many silly coins, and it such exchange in my mind. There is no interest for trade in there. Totally it has got included the worst ever.

Livecoin = Russia

Russia can have good exchanges but it's not appropriate to compare Bittrex with Livecoin.

Bittrex is more reputable, while Livecoin is too new to trust.

Thanks for clarrifying regarding on this matter and i already know that Livecoin is from russia based exchange.Ive done already some research of it and i could say they are also reputable but most people here specially on western and eastern countries will still surely prefer bittrex rather than livecoin and im sure with that.

i think i will choose for bittrex because i am familiar with bittrex beside poloniex and bittrex is my second market exchange with many good altcoin and have a good volume. for livecoin, i don't know much and i am not using livecoin as market exchange.

Thats a good choice, bittrex is a good trading platform and volumes of altcoins are big too which means there are lots of people do trade on this site. Regarding security better to set 2fa always so that you could able to avoid such account hacks

You are right about that, Russia can't seem to make up its mind whether to accept crypto or not.
No wonder Livecoin is not so popular on this forum - it's Russian.

I think bittrex need to add some more alts and DELETE shit alts with no trades at all!

Reading all different post here about exchange,Bittrexx is the preferred exchange because of the volume and security but adding the coin here is quite hard you need at least 3 bitcoin to get listed rigthaway

if you know richie from bittrex, you can get your coin listed there for a price far lower than 3btc. it's all about having connections. that being said, i don't find bittrex to be a great altcoin exchange anymore. especially not when you compare bittrex to how they were at least a year ago. poloniex is the place to be nowadays.

Interms of familiarity well i would surely go to bittrex since that is one of the big exchange and best choice to trade with, and it  have many whales where we can rely for some certain coins, and i don't know and see the features and what coins are listed on livecoin thats why i cannot tell if that is good or not but let see if we can see some good respons to other trader who trades in their.

actually Russia has always had the same stance about bitcoin and their mind was made up for a long time. they have never been against it. it is just the crappy news sites that post all kinds of nonsense as clickbaits. there have never been any "serious" talk of banning bitcoin and random guy telling court bitcoin must be banned is normal thing in all countries :D

and to answer OP the choice is obviously Bittrex because livecoin is unknown to me! and even if I wanted to choose a Russia based exchange like livecoin I would choose btc-e over it because btc-e has a much better and longer reputation.

livecoin is not as active like bittrex, bittrex seem reliable to me and most of the people refer you bittrex becasue they keep watch all the altcoin smoothly and it better to do happy trading with bittrex

Bittrex is one of the exchange that is running without any problem, many people out there are daily investing their money into bittrex and making profits through trading with bittrex, even for withdrawls they are paying on time when coming security they are playing vital role for accounts security. Livecoin is very new to market so people are not much bothering about livecoin, even though volumes are high but it will take time reach to people. Some big project are being launched in bittrex only. So i hope bittrex is one of the best option when compared to livecoin.

Yeah. Bittrex in my opinion is more trusted by experienced traders while livecoin is still something that is new and people don't really know anything about it at this stage. However with the current volume it could well exceed bittrex in the future.

What I would like to see is more choice of exchanges, as that competition lowers the fees. Instead of poloniex dominating, we should have decentralised exchanges operating more and more.

I think this comparaison explains everything about these exchanges. Bittrex is not the best, Poloniex may be, and even if they really "fake" the volume, there are 20 exchanges better then Bittrex, and yobit is one of them.
I would like you to notice also that ETH is driving the volumes for both of them.

Polo was including the major exchange and it's no sense for compare it with the minor exchange like bittrex. A lot of the ETH was exit from his cold storage in this day.  ;D

I only hear this livecoin exchange a week ago when some one of my friend told me. But still not created an account there I prepared to use poloneix and bittrex for now maybe soon when they get my trust on that exchange and if livecoin will have more positive feedback.

Considering we are talking about MINOR exchanges, why are we still comparing such close in volume exchanges ? how about asking POLO why they don't hold ICOs anymore ?
I am eager to discover the next gen exchanges with extended features, because this will be the best positioned ones for volume caption.
