I wouldn't call it lucrative, but if you have a good plan, good negotiation skills, some budget, good technical background, a good place to put miners, some luck and a really cheap electricity price, some profit can still be made.

The best way to gain bitcoins would probably be to buy them ;)

I think it depends on the cost of electricity and the price of the bitcoin, there are countries that the cost of electricity is cheap or below 7 cents, then mine is still profitable. But if the price of electricity 10 cents or more, it would not be profitable.

There are still people investing big dollars in "data centers" but that is mostly already made money that is getting re-invested out of boredom. These people with big bucks are quickly drying up and within a year I don't think mining will be considered lucrative in the slightest. That is unless we go way above $1,000 a coin which could happen too. Then we will see profitable mining into 2018 and it could happen.

In my opinion it will depend on the country's electricity bill, place and the weather condition of your country, if there would be a negative conditions regarding these set then it can not be very profitable but there are still many people that keeps on the pace on mining bitcoin and they are getting a lot of ROI with these regarding the place and part of the country you are there are places that are great in mining bitcoin.

Of course mining is still profitable for some, most of the things you'll find in the posts from other people on top of my post but if you have a decent electrical rate below 0.1$/kwh i would suggest looking at GPU mining, specifically eth and monero. They can be much more profitable than Bitcoin and gpus have great resale value. Of course profit is not guaranteed, but it's a better chance than with mining btc.

And the most important is the bitcoin price, after halving day, mining would be profitable in my country if the price of the bitcoin hit $900, until now I wait for the moment to be mining using 3 unit S7.

This is a general question, you need to be more specific. In which country do you live? How much do you pay (in US dollars) for electricity? How much money do you have to invest in this field?

Right now it's not,if you are going to mine Bitcoin but with altcoins it's a different story, some people are hitting jackpot mining altcoins at an earlier stage, the best way to gain bitcoin is to buy it,create a service or buy and sell or participate in signature campaign, imagination is the limit.
