Title: Resolved - Warning BTC-e not sending some withdrawals
Post by: codegnome on April 08, 2013, 04:12:40 PM
I have executed hundreds of transactions with BTC-e and loving the site. Until last night there were no problems. BTC-e failed to send me a withdrawal which I confirmed on the LTC blockchain. When I contacted online support this is the response I was given.

"if you have not sent it means you hacked your account, do not get money back"

So I guess he is telling me even though they never sent the withdrawal they are keeping it and I will never get my assets. Email support has of yet to respond to the issue.
Another user has the same issue so it's not just me. Be careful because there is nothing you can do if BTC-e decides to keep your assets and not honor withdrawals.

EDIT BTC-e has sent me my withdrawal - message the admin(not support) he will fix it fast.

BTC-e failed to send me a withdrawal which I confirmed on the LTC blockchain.

How did you confirm? Isn't it hard to find out what sending address BTC-E are using to withdraw funds? I'm confused, what address what the LTC sent to?

Here is the latest reply from support

"most likely you are faced with burglary"

Im no crypto expert so can coin be stolen while they are sent from BTC-e? The transaction from my BTC-e history does not show on my local wallet.

Where was it sent to? Your address or some other address

On the BTC-e transaction history page it is my wallet address, but I never received them.

This is the address that was used LWfXuzfT6jrN4SWD59MME2zjin2Md7sPzT. The confirmation is in my transaction history.

Is this your address or BTC-E address?

If this is the BTC-E address the coins were withdrawn from, is that 100 at the bottom your coins?

This is your address in your wallet on your computer or your address for deposits on BTC-E?

LZzbezU2zjwSYgnzn1A38kPqHgGQ5DaXLd is my local computer address that the confirmation said it sent them to.

Did you try withdrawing 100 LTC?

It looks like a transaction from http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LWfXuzfT6jrN4SWD59MME2zjin2Md7sPzT (http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LWfXuzfT6jrN4SWD59MME2zjin2Md7sPzT) went to http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LUBko8BupBxt9eJq27hoXUc8hcMaRRuMBA (http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LUBko8BupBxt9eJq27hoXUc8hcMaRRuMBA) which eventually ends up here http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/Lh1uf5qe2vF6mtp3mYwcCTtcffxmJN28WZ (http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/Lh1uf5qe2vF6mtp3mYwcCTtcffxmJN28WZ)

Does that address ring a bell at all?

... BTC-e failed to send me a withdrawal which I confirmed on the LTC blockchain. ...
If you see the transaction in the blockchain, then you have received the coins no matter what your wallet might say.

Sorry I am confused this is my local computer LZzbezU2zjwSYgnzn1A38kPqHgGQ5DaXLd

this is the address on the BTC-e transaction history page LZzbezU2zjwSYgnzn1A38kPqHgGQ5DaXLd

So im not sure how someone could have stole my coins

how come that you have the same address on your computer and BTC-e this doesn't make any sense , i do not know if this is even possible , are you sure about the above information ?

Ok lets start again because you gave the wrong address.

This is your Litecoin address on your computer, correct?
http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LZzbezU2zjwSYgnzn1A38kPqHgGQ5DaXLd (http://explorer.litecoin.net/address/LZzbezU2zjwSYgnzn1A38kPqHgGQ5DaXLd)

If this is your address, it shows nothing sent to or from since 5th April.

You say you made a withdraw request to the above address? Is that correct?

Because its not showing in the blockchain. This address shows no activity since 5th April (unless explorer.litecoin is not running in real time)

If BTC-e is saying on their website the transaction went to your address, but it went to another address, something is seriously wrong and BTC-e is probably hacked (again).
