Title: Increasing AWS limit g2.8xlarge Post by: Lone Shark on December 06, 2016, 08:09:12 AM Anyone knows how to do this? I know how to request an increase, but the stupid customer service representatives keep on denying my application for an increase.
This is what they replied to my request, Quote As your account is relatively new, with minimal usage up to this point, we would need you to first utilize your current instance capacity before granting such a request. These limits are put in place to help you gradually ramp up activity and decrease the likelihood of large bills due to sudden, unexpected spikes. Once we have a broader window of usage as well as successful billing history on your account to review, we are happy to reassess any requests. I need to get an instance with g2.8xlarge. I need it for some project I need to test out. Could anyone point me to a guide how to do this? If you know how to or had experience how to do this, could you post here how you did it? P.S.
