All the intros to bitcoin these days have to totally get rid of the technical details. Seriously, technical details are great for getting an early and excited community up and running, but technical details don't sell. We're in the stage of getting every-day normal people to start using bitcoins. Miners, inflation, network technologies, etc. are the back-end. Every-day users want the front end. Smartphone apps, qr codes, zapping money across the world at the speed of the internet.
