im looking for few cripto currency's to invest not much but nearly 1 btc for all but first i need to figure out few criptos that will gain its value year by year with good working and active project behind it,

Litecoin would be my personal choice.

Well, I guess litecoin, is one altcoin that remain active today. Well, I think it is very good to invest some of the money we have to litecoin, because I feel that soon, it'll go back, and a lot of people who will believe litecoin.

Waves: Very good price right now. will eventually pump to stratosphere, but not tomorrow, you gotta think long-time.

First of all is bitcoin when you buy bitcoin with your money or even earn it through various ways it is still an investment on its own and you should be satisfied with the huge profit that it is giving you long term.

but other altcoins you should find yourself case by case. all the opinions here are biased.
i suggest litecoin and monero because these two coins are old and have been surviving all the storms of the past and strongly continue on their way.

ETH have best platform at the moment this one have good potential and ICN is also looking nice with its recent progress. These are nice to buy some while they are cheap.

just dont go for LTC and ETH, and you will be ok  ::)
maybe you should have a look at navcoin, they have a solid team and a very good project.

personally I hate all alt coins and I do believe that holding bitcoin is the best
but I'm currently an investor in Omicron which is an investment platform , there is no new technology with it but simply holders receive profits in btc every two weeks

this project is running by a good trader who was able to make a lot of profits for his investors and the last two years , he was running Delta investments and now he launched this coin to make his job easier 

altcoin scene is not seeing good days currently. we are in bad situation both in price (since they are all falling pretty badly) and also in development since the developers have been getting more lazy and more greedy at some point they all stopped caring about altcoins as a new technology and started thinking about money and pump and dump!

Buy the only crypto coin in the world with the stated goal of delivering profits to your pocket. ICONOMI is the only (correct me if i am wrong) crypto currency that will be paying dividends to its holders very soon. This coin is only a few moths old and already has a $15 million market cap. It is only listed on 2 exchanges currently so the price is a bit suppressed. This coin has the potential to enter the top 3 spot of the crypto world. Do your own research please, but make haste.

I am keeping close eye on monero for some time now and it have made good progress till now, other could be zcash (but don't buy now, wait few more months) and also you can play with ETH.

maybe i will choose ethereum classic, monero, dash, xvc, and nem because we can see that this coins still active until now although i don't follow too much about the projects but its worth for me. litecoin is another good altcoin projects while the price is still buried too deep.

Monero has steady progress and quite good community (but also a ton of haters).
Waves looks pretty good, at least as idea and development, but its thread is full of spam.
XMG Magi has nice team, it had an interesting idea that makes it in my eyes the coin with maybe the best decentralization, but it seems to lacks that spark that makes the price lift off.
I am sure that there are many other good projects too.

Make sure that you either diversify, either don't jump into this risky play. Keeping your Bitcoin is a pretty good bet too.

I've already invested to some of these but more on ICN. I'm too late to invest to the rest for its value already bloated a bit. I probably will try this bitbay if i got some btc.

Dash and Gulden, the rest of the coins havent delivered much and they still stuck on pre 0.11 codebases.

Don't let the above posters fool you and do proper research. Look at Guldens 1.6.0 update and you will see an example of delivery not just pretty photoshop pictures promising the world.

Well in altcoins best will indeed be at this time Ethereum considering the features, market cap , sustainability and future prospect. Its being for a while now and since its price is also undervalued so it is one of the best option considering in terms of return and future growth.

From the list you have given i would say go for ICONOMI as it has the potential to reach atleast over 50000 satoshi once the project starts rolling ,Monero and Etherum will have some ups and downs and i am not sure about Litecoin but Zcash is just a joke ,dont you ever think that it will reach the lauch price.It is meant to go down further and it will go down for sure. Dont waste your money in Zcash atleast for now.Go on and start mining Zcash rather than investing in it.

Is Navcoin a new project which launched recently . I can see that the price of the coins is almost 7k sat .Was there an ICO for the coin and if so what was the price then and what is the real potential of this coin.LTC and ETH are gone down and i dont know whether it will rise again in near future.

MINT is a good coin that's been around for years. Get some Mintcoin.

Since there are many altcoins but about some numbers of cryptocurrency are trustworthy .
but I will suggest you to take care about  DOGE,RDD,PAK,ATM,AUM,ANTI,BTP etc price when they get lowered then make buy of some .

Litecoin is a great choice, also take a look at SJCX, it's a great project with lots of potential, also buy some MAID while it's cheap.

Keep an eye on BURST, Synereo:AMP, SC and OMNI.

Waves: I think the best price for the token is 30Ksat that it is now, good project but it is overcapitalised which has shrink room for growth.

Lisk: If I were you I won't touch it, the developers seem to lack indepth knowledge of what they want to do and also the inflation rate will still keep the market down,  if the price go as low as that of Amp then the risk reward ratio has reduced

For me i can say almost in top 10 altcoin in the coinmarket cap is the good choice to invest.. i do not think about to ethereum if the price will increase again back to $14 usd.. but it is better to have them fews coins so that you can sell it and make profit once it is increase again back to high..

Well, litecoin was definitely one of them, until.... The ASIC miners for litecoin came. It was supposed to be ASIC resistant, but now its only advantage over bitcoin is that it has faster block retargeting times... And that is about it.

Ethereum is dropping in price too. From around $20 to $10, or even less than that.

Ethereum is going down as of these days and it even almost reach $6 which is really a bad thing for most investors who bought on the $14 price before and they are surely experiencing loss of capital and i assume they are on panic selling on their eth same story on other alts too on which most of them are on bearish. Better to choose up the top 10 crypto as of now.

I agree with you on ICONOMI, I can't look further than ICN presently and even looking to add more tokens to mine holding, this is not a project based on software development when compared to most Altcoins and have no real world use, ICN will be a hit once the platform comes online

Lisk has been doing horribly, and I can see absolutely no reason why the price should increase.  It's not like a stock that's undervalued--you can't even rationally put a value on a shitcoin.  There's a good reason the price is in the dumper.  It's crap.  Same with Waves and whatever the F NEM is.  These are all garbage coins that have a rabid but very deluded fanbase.  I say go with DOGE or one of the big ones that at least a few people use.  But even those are very risky.  For me it's BTC or bustola.

I personally can find nothing I like better than GoldCoin (GLD).

The consumer will be the one that ultimately decides the winner and we've been positioning ourselves for that paradigm shift for more than 3 years. It's starting to pay off as we now have major projects underway in the United States, Russia, and Africa. I used to trade these markets for a living, and the GLD order books are looking mighty bullish.

Will recommend these coins,but since it's your money you should also do your own diligence to see the potential of this coin according to your judgement : Burstcoin,Icobid,CGC Project,Bash and Victoriouscoin.

2016 has been the year of ICO and all of this coin with the exception of Bash are ICO coins,you can look for other coins ,but do not put all your eggs in one basket.

If you still have your BTC I'd first link my wallet up to ByteBall (it seems promising) then after having received confirmation of your ByteBall trade I'd then invest into Lisk.

Actually there are a handful of good altcoins to invest in. To pick one out I would name NEM (New Economy Movement). Especially the tech has a huge potential and it is already used by some projects in Asia for prototyping.

The ICO was already running for a few month. but there is no clear statement about the close date of ICO. But i feeling doubt with it. and i don't see it be a good project in ther future.  :D

I think ETC and LISK have great potential to make good returns. Just wait a few months.

Get into Mintcoin. It is, as they say,  "so Mint!"  Especially if you are into running the actual wallet from time to time, you'll make 5% additional mintcoins in a year from saving your coins. It is great because the inflation rate of the money supply is actually less than 5%, more like 3.5% so you actually really make money, if you participate in minting. Mintcoin is the one you probably want out of all these coins. MINT has been around a while (in terms of cytpo) as of this writing almost 3 years, and still going strong. Finally, someone mentions my favourite (fun) alt. I was mistaken thinking that the usual January pump would also take place this year (yes there a few days left but it's not going to happen) but it's still one of the oldest, most recognised and most widely used alt that even at its 22 satoshi value, it's not a bad coin to hold for use. Its dollar value has managed to stay in range for the past 6 months too.

If your sole purpose is to earn money then go for current top ICO projects. I think it would be Qtum. I don't know if they have the means to stay profitable in the long run,
but hype definitely is there. Qtum's crowdsale is going to start 1st March and there is a high chance of earning some money from it.

i'm holding my ICN like crazy and the rest of users can attest that ICN can be huge just when the full platform will be released. they said it will be this Q1 so expect it to go a $1 each. if you plan to buy plan not while its cheap. thats the only token i can suggest for now.. or maybe you want to also try TIME token of chronobank.

I would devide your sum in 3 parts and invest 1 as your guts tell you, 1 for ETH and the last 1 for ASCendancy.
