Title: CGC Project is looking for a serious Escrow Service - We pay Tip
Post by: CGC Project on December 08, 2016, 04:29:53 PM
Hello! We're going to start a crowdfunding project.

People asked us to use an escrow service.

We contacted most reputable one on the forum but he is probably very busy, we're probably wasting our time.
We contacted another among most reputable ones and but he is probably very busy too. We'd like to launch everything before Christmas.

Any serious escrow service available here?
Any exchange, or online game magazine could act as escrow?
We have no strange request, we can provide proof of our software, we agree conditions suggested by famous escrow SebastianJu about the BTC address for collecting fund.
We can pay a tip.

I can be your escrow.
Don't fall for dumb-shit like this.People below Senior Members and with no heavy positive feedback have 100% chances of stealing your funds.Don't even go by anyone's green trust,ICO funding is taking a huge risk and the escrow would have nothing to lose but a bitcointalk account.

However, try OgNasty or shorena. Not sure if they carry this type of escrows but it's worth giving them a try.If you ever find a escrow and would like to know more about his reputation or forum's views towards him, don't hesitate to message me. :)

Thank you. We were looking for someone with a decent volume reputation, maybe experience in a previous ICO. I have no clue how much we may collect, but if the amount is interesting escrow could be tempted to run away with money. Does any official exchange offer such a service? We basically need someone to hold our BTC funds until we release CGC funds and our game engine...

if you want crowdsale and ico selling you must use reputable escrow
without reputable escrow you only same not use escrow, and reduce trust in your crowdsale

recomended is sebastian ju , ognasty, and bitcointalk staff member

SebastianJu suddenly stopped answering to our messages. He is probably very busy. We never had any issue. I can provide proof of our messages.

His backup was John John. He suddenly stopped answering to our messages. He is probably very busy too. We never had any issue. I can provide proof of our messages.

John backup was OgNasty. He clearly have doubts  about our project. He maybe think we're scammers, we invited him to our game engine pre-release but it didn't help. That's fine. He doesn't refuse to act as escrow though  ;) He asked us for 2.50 Bitcoin to be paid in advance to generate a "fancy Btc address" for us, as working with people like us is "time demanding". Of course we refused. I can provide proof of our messages.

OgNasty backup was SFR10. He candidated himself for escrow position in a PM, he normally ask for 1%, and that's fine with us. Today he refused to act as escrow for 2 reasons: because he doesn't want to use a multisig addresses and because CGC ICO already started.  Of course second problem is not a real problem. We clearly stated ICO will start WHEN we will have an escrow. I can provide proof of our messages.

We tried contacting Rhavar, he's cheaper and he wants some condition to be met, and 24 hours to hold the funds.

We agreed all conditions he asked for except his suggestion about a 2 on 3 signature address.
If he accept 2on2 signature address we can move forward and announce the project.
Otherwise research will start again.
