Mistertango is service from my country. It's not very popular service, but I never saw bad user reviews about Mistertango. Their bitcoin exchange bitmarket.lt aready working for few years in Lithuania.

What are the bitcoin related functionalities I could expect with mistertango.com, I could not find any of these details in their website. In recent times I came to know about wb21.com and they are accepting bitcoin deposits along with plastic and virtual debit cards but no sure about credibility. I like to have mistertango's official ANN topic if OP is the owner.

Yes, you will have an IBAN on your name, but I'm not sure if it also support SEPA Direct Debit.
The account is free, so you can just try to do it.

So are these guys going to report on AEOI / CRS ?
Do we know how much data Lithuania would report, like just end-of-year balances or more like transactions, average balance etc

Mistertango is the one I am seriously thinking to use after reading several days ago another thread created by Hostfat. The two reasons are they offer personnal IBAN wich is the most important for what i am looking, and the fact they are bitcoin friendly. Sadly after searching (maybe not enough) they don't offer a Visa/Mastercard service. I first planned to use n21 but the verification is impossible for me, and so then when i saw Mistertango is bitcoin friendly i changed my mind for them. I plan to use with exchanges and maybe more if all is going good

I don't know where you are located but to fight the taxs frauds and others now more and more european countries are communicating about financials infos about their citizen and it's all done automatically. Means your gov will know what account and where you own them and what you do with it. thanks to europe :(

Anyone familiar with their free ATM withdrawal service? The info in the website says that there's a free withdrawal each month for up to 200€. Does this reset on the first of each month?

Why don't you just use a bitcoin visa card instead of going with a bank

There could be multiple justifications for this. But I do see there are 2 prime reasons :
1. Bitcoin debit card provider's fee structure are ridiculous most of the times whereas a local services will be coming with nominal fees (it is true in real time as per my deals with my local exchanger).
2. Personally I do not want to share my documents with any international or new service providers but I will be ready to share with a local services given that they are into a registered services.

Bitcoin debit cards can be quite costly, for several reasons.

They're not free most of the time, some have monthly recurring fees, BTC/FIAT rates are sometimes purposefully skewed at the cost of the user (see my post about how Wirex/E-Coin abuses fake rates (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.200)), ATM withdrawal are big, limits are sometimes low and most importantly customer service is sometimes bad (Wirex is a great example (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.msg17002602#msg17002602)).

Anyone familiar with their free ATM withdrawal service? The info in the website says that there's a free withdrawal each month for up to 200€. Does this reset on the first of each month?

Yes - reset on the first day of each month

MrTango site only good for practicing cracking the automated ID verification system (I TRIED (and failed) LIKE 20X and it never booted me or closed the account), to practice for local bitcoins. Otherwise useless.

***WARNING***

Hi guys, I made an account here to warn you about Mistertango since I found them from this forum.

My partner and I do crypto arbitrage and I opened an account with Mistertango 2 weeks ago to receive funds and re-deposit to exchanges. I got verified and emailed them introducing myself and informing them that I intend to deposit considerable amounts for trading. They assured me there's no limits and as long as I provide an agreement between me and partner when deposit comes from a new account, all will be good. I sent the agreement and a bank statement as per their request. They confirmed it was sufficient and all looked OK. Over a week I asked them 3 times (since I really wanted to be sure) and they confirmed each time in writing that there are no issues whatsoever. Screenshots below of our email conversation and I have no problem uploading the whole transcript.

https://postimg.org/image/6ut9rphxp/

https://postimg.org/image/sbg1aqail/

https://postimg.org/image/r6c29ut2j/

I started depositing with them since last week, ~€25000, then ~€43000, then ~€63000. Friday my partner sent me ~€100,000 which came in Monday, I tried to deposit to Kraken but funds didn't go out until I emailed Mistertango today asking if anything is wrong. An employee I hadn't talked to emailed me saying I needed to describe the purpose of the payment, provide proof I own the money, and suggested that we should use their exchange instead of Kraken. I replied with a clarification, informed him his colleague gave me the go ahead, I had asked about this before, and attached proof. This was totally ignored and he just replied that my account will be closed on suspicion of money laundering tomorrow and that if I don't take the money out today they will charge me an extra €100 and 'sanction' me.

https://postimg.org/image/qzyd0vsft/

To top it off, they added a €500 fee for me to take my money out which they never charged before. My replies to them stating what they confirmed to me in writing before and providing proof are being totally ignored. When I asked why they are taking €500 of my money... totally ignored.

https://postimg.org/image/u6jwld145/

https://postimg.org/image/98xmklyvd/

So basically Mistertango just lured me in, confirmed to me a lot of things in writing which they totally ignored later on, let me get comfy and make a big deposit, then told me to f*** off and stole €500 from me. The only answer I get from them is ''Take your money out by tomorrow or we will take more of your money''. Extortion mafia-style. They just don't give a s***.

***USE AT YOUR OWN RISK***

So, basicaly you moved quarter a million of euro in a week over a brand newly opened personal account and are surprised they are asking for verification, which is required by every and all banking regulation bodies in EU.

Seriously ?

Title: Re: Mistertango.com - Lithuania - IBAN bank account EUR - Bitcoin friendly

@rewter - Of course I'm not surprised they're asking for verification. The point is that I met all their requirements and advised them before I even started that I'm going to move this money. They told me that they have 'no limits', there will be 'no problems', my documents are 'good'. Now since yesterday they didn't even give me the option to provide them documents or anything, won't answer my questions and they're closing my account.

Worst of all is they added a 0.5% fee which was never there before, to take out my money, which adds to €507.50 - as per the last screenshot I attached, I was never being charged such a fee before they informed me that my account is being closed. So basically they just decided to nick €500 off me since I wasn't going to be their customer anymore anyways.

The only hint I got of why they did this is because I wasn't using their exchange to purchase cryptocurrency, they suggested that my partner can buy BTC directly from their exchange and I don't need to do 'this'. Also, since I was providing all the documents they were asking me for, they asked me if I have a 'license to accept currency and buy BTC'. When I told them that everyone can buy BTC with currency, no such license exists, and asked them to specify which license they're talking about, the question was just ignored, along with my question about why they are ripping me off €500. They just told me my account is being closed.

I would be very careful of using them as Bitcoin exchange. However their SEPA transfers work perfectly, just take into account they add "advertising" of their company to the payment comments.

Yes, really.

Screenshots of what? I can tell you they add "Sent from Mistertango" to the comments of the transfer.

Example: if you send a transfer with the "BitcoinTalk" comment, the receiving account will see this comment: "BitcoinTalk. Sent from Mistertango"

He is mainly complaining about high btc transfer fees (0.005 btc). Client has to pay €129.90, but after deducting receiver get only ~€103. And it's not clearly disclosed about that fee.
Another note - allow to choose who will pay fee - sender or receiver.
And last, today he deposited $15 in btc, but support said that he can say goodbye to these money, because smaller than 0.005 deposits are not accepted. And again, there is not written anywhere that they not accept deppsits smaller than 0.005 btc.

I have a Mistertango account and I am very satisfied with it. Yes, there are fees and yes there are deductions after trading bitcoins on their internal exchange but one should not forget that they have staff salaries to pay... IT, utility bills, cost of leasing their company offices in Vilnius, and many other costs.

They offer one of the last few options on this planet for an IBAN account which allows BTC deposits. And a free MasterCard on top of that!

It's almost like they are donating their products and services so stop complaining.

Recipient account = IBAN
Bank data - not necessary, if it is SEPA transfer. IBAN is enough, it is unique for every SEPA bank.
Reference number = put it in the comments to the transfer (Purpose of payment field). If this is GDAX reference number, their software will parse comment field for all inbound transfers to put your transfer in place.
Amount to send (EUR) = put EUR sum here

Try to look into ADK (Aidos Kuneen) partnership with 2 BANK offshore out of AEOI, in some months we should open remote access and bye bye Tax or AEOI.

they are also partner with MisterTango for implement it ADK/EUR ADK/BTC, Monsterbytes casino for gambling... and others activites like they acquire MoneyPot a crossWallet.

This project will not be only just a big value in 2018 but also a nice way to store your value out of AEOI country with them Banking network.

I posted my experience on their thread but as it is self-moderated they can delete it, so I'll post here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1972805.msg28831503#msg28831503

It seems my account is locked or at least has some limitation.

...

I used my account to buy and sell on localbitcoins.

Just want to update this.

Mistertango just closed my account. At least they were fast to transfer the full remaining amount to other account I gave them.

After that they stopped replying to me and I can't even see the closing statement.

I'll explain how I used this account:

All I did was localbitcoins trading.

I sell bitcoin for SEPA and buy bitcoin for SEPA. Just this!!

When I receive money in the account I immediately buy and send to other person. I know banks don't like this and think this is money laundering behaviour but I explained I did bitcoin trading and I expected much more from a bank that claims to be bitcoin-friendly.

I was able to use them to receive about €9k in less than a month.

So far this was the fastest bank to shut me down. All other banks I used and shut me down took way more time.

So bitcoin-friendly MY ASS! Maybe they are friendly if you buy on their own exchange, but that is not bitcoin-friendly.

This experience was very similar to every other fucking bank. Stupid decisions, impossible to reason with, and NOT BITCOIN-FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!!

I'm very disappointed with Mistertango.

You've been warned!

Also have a Mistertango account and everything ok! Received Card in two days in other country. Commission is good, service is very convenient. Not a lot of companies can offer such products and services.

Which countries Mistertango support?

Maybe it is a good option to have it to exchange FIAT and crytpocurrencies, especially when most of my local exchanges have been shut down by governments.

From the FAQ:

Can non-EU ciziten open Mistertango account?

Yes, sure.  Citizens of any country could open a Mistertango account.

As far as I know, the credit card will be delivered to EU countries only.

But have a look at the fees, before opening the account at a non-EU-resident!

Mistertango does have a BTC deposit feature that is connected to their exchange (only EUR is deposited on the bank account). It conviniently allows you to deposit BTC to an address and have EUR in your bank account the moment it's sold. What I take issue with that feature is the fact that it is set to charge a minimum fee of 0.0025 BTC which these days has become too large in value due to the rise in bitcoin's price.

Yes, these conveniences come with a price. It's still worth paying it and enjoying the convenience of their MasterCard which is a top notch product by the way. If you look at the back of the card, the small print says it's issued by WireCard which seems to be a widely respected prepaid card issuer, not just in Europe but in the Americas too, having acquired Citi Prepaid Card Services:

https://www.wirecard.com/newsroom/press-releases/newsdetail/entry-into-the-us-market-wirecard-completes-the-acquisition-of-citi-prepaid-card-services/

Just like any other company, Mistertango has bills to pay. I don't mind paying the fees (for now) until a cheaper and more established system is introduced in the market in the future.

can you keep some bitcoin "unconverted" on their exchange and decide to convert only when you need it?

Yes. However i havent seen any trustworthy words on mistertango working yet, nor if they were a member of west crest.

I ordered this card a week ago, and i havent heard ANYTHING since. If they really work, card delivery is probably about 3-6 months because they get like 1k+ new memebers per day.

Hello.. I have the card i it just works everywhere, almost 500€ spended on stores!

The only "problem" is the fee you pay to load the card, but if you load high amounts you will not have this problem, for example, the fee of loading the card with 100€ or 2000€ its almost the same "aprox.25€" so if you top-up with high values its not that big of a deal! ATM withdrawals are fine too, but you can only withdraw 1 time per month free of fee, if you want to withdraw more you will pay 3€ fixed-fee for every time on that month, the withdrawal fee resets at the end of each month!

All the purchases in ePOS/POS stores are FEE-FREE so this is very good. As far as i know this is one of the best cards right now that still runs.

MisterTango just add the top-up with more alt-coins and it will be perfect!

And goodbye to this card too..

Dear Mistertango users,

We have some really bad news for you...
Due to the new regulations of "Mastercard" we can't issue card services for clients located outside Europe.
From the 2018-02-01 all "Mistertango" issued cards for non-EU clients will be disabled.
We are working hard to find new worldwide solution as fast as possible.
You will be still able to use your "Mistertango" account to receive and send SEPA and SWIFT transfers.

We are really sorry about this issue!

Sincerely,
Mistertango

On the positive side, they still allow SEPA and SWIFT transfers which means I can still load the account with coins and transfer Euros to my other accounts.

Hi Guys,

I had opened a mistertango Business account in December , and got verified my business client sent me the payment for my invoice  of Euro 12,500  via swift and another SEPA payment of Euro 13,000. The transaction was done on 17th January and 12th January respectively. Its been about 4 weeks and I still have not received the money.

Mistertango has been unable to trace the payment with whatever information my clients have provided to me from their bank.

The SEPA payment was done via Italy post office branch . My clients from Italy says he cant provide anything more on the payment.

The Swift payment detail of Tracer has been raised by the sender's bank , and I am waiting for those details.

Does anyone has any experience of missing SEPA payment tracing. Please advice.

Thanks

Yesterday my mistertango has arrived.
Strangely on the delivery address there was the wrong town but luckyly correct zip code.
I've loaded the exchange and I discovered the 1% load fee minimum 0,0025BTC (bad thing)
Exchange rate is fair. (much better than wirex, that remains the worst ever seen)

I tried an ATM withdraw and it unfortunately failed. "service temporarily unavailable"
I hope it was only that ATM, i'll try others this evening.

ARDOR partnered with Mistertango Bank to create Euro pegged token.
maybe this can't help replace USDT or give everybody an other option.

The AEUR child chain represents an important use case and milestone in the growth of the Ardor platform. It enables easy conversion of fiat to crypto, allows buying and selling of items with prices denominated in Euro, trading of blockchain assets and paying dividends again in Euro, and makes participation in ICOs with prices based in Euro easier for all users.

What are the maximum limits for a single ATM transaction?

If you go here:

https://mistertango.com/en/mastercard

Scroll down until you see "Prices". You should see the link "Download full pricelist in PDF"

If you can't find the PDF link, here are the limits copy/pasted from that site:

Maximum monthly transactions limit €15 000
Maximum annual transactions limit €20 000
Maximum card payment limit per day €3 000
Maximum per ATM transaction €1 000
Daily ATM withdrawal limit €1 000
Minimum ATM withdrawal limit €10

im doing payments almost every day with mistertango card! it works all the time! the only problem for me is that 0.0025BTC fee for load the card!

Other cards like epayments have almost no fee at all! for load the card with 100€ just send 101.50€... thats a good fee!

But for thoose who work with bigger number than i am, mistertango is rock solid with his WireCard card issuer!! I beleive its here to stay!

There are 2 ways to add funds to your Mistertango account - bank transfer (SEPA and SWIFT) and you also can deposit BTC to address which you will find on your account. Best and cheapest way to add funds to your account - SEPA bank transfer. If you will deposit BTC, you will be charged 0.0025 BTC fee.
You will find all their on this link https://mistertango.com/en/bank-account/ (You nedd to click "Download full pricelist in PDF" bellow.
In general, there are only 2 fees - 0.0025 BTC deposit/withdrawal fee and 2% (not less than €3) ATM withdrawal fee. You can withdraw up to €200 once per month for free.
Yes, from my own experience it's safe.

I'm using Mistertango card for a two months now and I'm satisfied. Bitcoin deposit is almost instant and the card is accepted everywhere.
What I'm not satisfied at all is very high deposit fee so it's not convenient at all to deposit small amounts. I think this is something that should be changed.
But having in mind very poor choice of Bitcoin debit cards at the moment I can't complain too much.

Guys, 0.0025 BTC might sound like an extortionate fee for some here but stop and think for a moment. This is a financial company aiming to make gainful revenue. They have salaries to pay, operating costs to settle, books to balance and other behind the scenes expenses. Frankly the free IBAN account with a free linked MasterCard is a blessing for many crypto users here (compared to WageCan’s $200+ card!).

It’s probably not advisable to deposit small bitcoin amounts if this fee bothers you but are there that many options to choose from? I can’t think of other card issuers which load cards instantly and automatically after just 1 confirmation. None in fact, apart from Mistertango.

There are no funds loaded onto the card. It’s the IBAN account which are funded with euros when you send bitcoins to the linked btc address. When you use the card, it checks the account if it has any money on it. The card itself does not store any money.

As for reversing the bitcoins you send to Mistertango, you can’t. You can however use their linked exchange to buy bitcoins but I’m not sure if you can pay with the Mistertango card or if it works. I use the account for converting btc to euros.

So i ordered this card.
Was required to give literally all my personal information including a picture of my passport and a new updated picture of my face.
Fine... So i figured i would try it out.
I sent 0.0013 just to test out if this works.
After a couple of days no money came on my mister tango account.
I contacted support they told me there fee is 25usd per account top up.
I asked if there is a 25usd fee if they could please refund my money
I was told it was an transaction fee.
I asked what the fee was for since there was no transaction the money was never converted or anything legit just gave away 10usd for nothing.
At this point mister tango just quit replying.
A week goes by and i ask again.
And i get told
" For further communication regarding BTC transactions please contact Bitmarket support: support@uabbitmarket.freshdesk.com"

Just flat out scammed.
Yea sure theres an transaction fee. Never imagined it to be a min of 25usd.
And fine if there is a 25usd fee simply refund the money as the amount of money sent didn't cover the minium fee.
Legit just stealing money at that point

-Beside that
new updates to mistertango makes it cost 5euro a month
so if you can't accept that, together with the 25usd fee per transaction
don't bother with these guys just giving a bunch of personal information for nothing

"All crypto-related services (including access to btc-exchange.com) will be included only in upgraded (“+”) plans both for private and corporate clients. The full new Mistertango pricing model can be found here and below in the letter. "
private+ cost 5usd. Corporate will cost you 500euro a month to get / send money using btc

Shit company.
Shit support.
Complete and utter scam.

they are not a scam - but they are going down now by the hit of a regulator - Bank of Lithuania (country, where MT is licensed in): https://www.lb.lt/en/news/mistertango-uab-fined-eu245-thousand-for-non-compliance-with-aml-requirements

Basically, they've been fined and restricted to a level that is hard to understand what they actually can do.
