EDIT: MTGOX won't even let me transfer my BTC to  my own wallet!

I transfered $USD to MTGOX and wanted to send it to bitinstant and it won't let me.

If i buy btc, will MTGOX let me transfer those, or are they going to hold those hostage too?

Still waiting to get MTGOX verified.

I have never had a problem transferring BTC from or to mtgox.

Hi, I've never had problems with MtGox either.
Just make sure you are not exceeding your daily limit (yet, before getting verified).

PS: I would not transfer my money (at the moment of writing this) to Bitstamp, since at Bitstamp you will be paying an "above" price for your BTC compared to MtGox. This easily adds up to $5 per BTC.

well, problem still persists. MTGOX is not allowing me to transfer ANYTHING.

They said my account needs to be verified before I can transfer out my BTC.

pieces of shit violate their own tos.

You can only transfer to an account you own. You cannot transfer to another exchange, because you do not own the account.

Also unless they changed it, but if you are transferring to a US based account, there is the transaction fee which is like $20-25 and on top of that it has to be at least $75 or more.

As the largest and well known exchange they should know their customers. Otherwise their bank account will closed for AML investigation.
I wonder why it still did not happen.
If you need privacy try OTC trade with cash.

Sounds like you're gonna have to wait for your account to be verified.

I'm in the same boat, I suspect my account will be verified sometime in May or June at its current rate LOL!

mtgox won't let me do SHIT with my bitcoins either...fucking ridiculous.

I wouldn't be suprised if they did this because they are actually using our bitcoins for themselves, trading, making profits...doing all this while everyone has to wait "atleast ten business days" just to do ANYTHING with your bitcoins. Its a fucking scam. I've already been denied verification twice too, despite submitting both my ID anddd proof of residency.

God damn sneaky jap assholes why cant anyone just do something right for once....

This seems odd. I never verified and have never had an issue transferring coins. Maybe something else is wrong. Does Mt. Gox tell you that you need verificaiton when you try to withdraw your bitcoins?
