If you want to stick to the optimum undervolted settings for RX 470 and get around @27 Mh/s per card, an 850W Gold PSU is fine. If you want to overclock them to max and get @29 Mh/s per card get a 1000W Gold PSU.

if cpu is lower one, then 1000w gold or platinum psu would be enough.there must be some space left for psu.i think 850w will not be enouh

I agree, I usually figure 150w per GPU now with both Ethereum and Zcash mining. This figure also takes into account the rest of the system as I measure at the wall, so with 6 cards @ 150 watts is 900 watts total, so you will want at least a 1000 watt Gold or better PSU.

You can get 29 MH/s at 90W when underclocking the bad ones (those with Elpida memory). So 6*100=600W. Count 250W for the system to be large. A 850W gold PSU will be perfect ;) ! If you want further hints just ask me here !

Gotta flash the bios, modding the memory strap timings. with hynix I put the 1500 value in the higher ones 1625, 1750 and 2000. Also overclock the mem, (can underclock and undervolt the core too)
