Thanks, lots of work gone into it over the past 18 months, its from 1773 and is a substantial part of a ship owners manor, now it could be a substantial BTC owners country property :)

Havent seen the Kurt film, will take a look, we have some original Nirvana gig posters on the walls, so thats kind of fitting.

Guys Beware.. I smell scam.

Just saw your message, Honestly I think Im the one that would need to be most worried here, and would naturally require full legal procedure on any sale!

Would also probably require an agreement more like 85/15 GBP/BTC in the light of volatility, further this is just a longshot to kill two birds with one stone, as mentioned the house will be on the market soon regardless.

No-one is going to buy a house after seeing just one picture of one room!

Please let us see where it is on a map, floor plans, pictures of the inside and outside, and give us details of what work was carried out and what still needs doing. Anyone serious will have to see it in real life at least once too.

Understood, please also understand that discretion is important, should anyone be seriously interested in getting further information after qualifying themselves, that is no problem.

From limited info house looks London-like. Must be a very big place for Lancashire. No location, no info really. Interesting idea though, best of luck

Yeah, would you be able to show more pictures and give us a value in GBP which you are looking to sell at, because bitcoin is forever changing.

I dont understand all the scam messages, you do understand the requirements to sell a house in the UK?

The house is now being viewed so I will most likely edit my post out do to lack of serious interest.

Thanks for anyone being supportive rather than claiming scam.

There could well be serious interest but when I look at an estate agent's window I see the price, exact location, outside pictures, floor plans, if it's freehold or leasehold. That's just the get-you-interested information. For no charge I can arrange to see it and check the walls for damp, the condition of the brickwork and the roof, figure out if the electrics need replacing, any other work that needs doing and so on.

You showed a picture of the inside of one room only.

Thats my point, this isnt an estate agents window, I also mentioned that Im testing the waters. If there was someone in the position to purchase a property at this price bracket, who was interested in the location etc etc then they were free to get in touch.

Please realise that lisiting full details here could alienate purchasers who did find the property via an estate agent.

Regardless Ive pulled the advert from here, it was a long shot, and discretion doesnt seem to bide to well here.

Thanks for your comments, I guess it shows that a marketplace needs to match both the needs of a buyer and seller in better ways, and this marketplace perhaps isnt mature enough yet to cater to all types of sales.

Cheers

Maybe I'm being dense here but I don't see how you can discreetly sell a house. It's on public record and everyone who cares can find out who is registered to vote at that address at the local library. The neighbors will notice people moving heavy things, any kind of building work, and what cars are parked out front. We can't tell you if we are interested in the location because you were vague about it.

The only legitimate reason I can think of for you wanting to sell a house discreetly is because you entered some kind of sole estate agent deal for discounted fees and are trying to break it without the estate agent in question finding out. If that's the case good luck to you, I've found estate agents to be a dishonest bunch and they deserve it. But still no-one will buy a 800k house without plenty of details.

Paranoia nothing! Maybe I'm genuinely interested in someone selling a house for BTC and somewhat confused why I'm not getting details.

Floor plans, energy performance graphs, maps, and photos here:

This house is a beauty but the location isn't ideal for someone who needs to get to London.
