Title: [Poll] Would you support university research on Bitcoin (with your Bitcoins)? Post by: silzero on April 09, 2013, 03:26:10 PM One idea that came about was how about setting up a fund to enable university research projects on Bitcoin. If we get about 5 projects funded in well known universities across the world, that could be really good PR for Bitcoin plus its good for the universities. Couple of years back (2011), a guy was asking for 2000 Bitcoins for his research, now that would be more like 200 or less.
We'd have to fund it via Bitcoin foundation or something for this to look good. I'm thinking about BTC2500 for 5 projects. Would you be interested?
