Title: ADZbuzz uBlock - Blocks Ads And Will Help Publishers
Post by: JensS on December 14, 2016, 04:26:31 AM
Hello,

In order to get a better browsing experience and avoid being tracked and data-mined you can now use ADZbuzz uBlock.

The browser extension is already available for Chrome and is pending approval for Firefox and Opera at the moment:

>>> https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adzbuzz-ublock/kllohiclobgoaffphlofnjdlabflpgha

If you want to read more about the entire concept and how exactly publishers and advertisers will benefit from our project, just read the overview here: here:

>>> http://bloglivin.com/adzbuzz-review/

The ADZlink and ADZnouncer are currently in beta testing mode and once the tests are succesful we will integrate the revenue distribution system allowing every publisher to earn ADZcoin automatically.

Cheers,
Jens

Why do you posting in alt coin section? it's not like the mass scam thing is it?
I used every blocker just to end up my browser page constantly being redirected to bunch of advertising sites and online shops, I think we'd better off any blocker only if it's an open source, and if is not then what good are you doing to people and what are you getting in return really?

You should read the Whitepaper I suggest, all info is there. :)

If you have any more questions after that just let me know!

Cheers,
Jens

PS: I've never experienced this with any ad blocker, at least not the ones accepted in Google Chrome...

how about adzcoin saver?

We couldn't integrate it into the adblocker as it's against Google's policy to have 2 purposes. We will use it later on and connect it with ADZbuzz Savers to give it it's purpose again as before.

Already doing a fantastic job for me. It's blocking those annoying pop up ads and sites load up fast now. No FB ads either thats a plus for me

The update the dev just released for Adzbuzz Ublock destroys the ads on yahoo page. Good job

Looking forward to the mobile version too in the future

Yeah it's a breath of fresh air isn't it surfing without popups and videos playing automatically, let alone the tracking going on behind the scene. ;)

The problem though is that publishers don't earn but that will be solved soon as you can read in the whitepaper. :)

A good product. I used AdBlocker Plus (ABP) till now. It was good but I used to still get some ad popups while browsin. But now after installin ADZbuzz uBlock I dont get any popups. It has increased browsin speed as well, probably because of no ads while browsin. Thanks.

I installed the Adzbuzz blocker and it works fantastically.  I love it!  No more annoying ads popping up.  I also love the whole business concept behind the blocker and the Adz coin.  Well done to the team for creating something of value and linking it to Adzcoin.

Hello jens, that's amazing but you should also consider giving some good reward initially to users as incentive to install the extension like you are giving to publishers and merchants, because as we have already seen in previous failed mass promos of that earlier extension it is difficult to persuade people to add and adopt these extensions massively

I simply love this, making my internet expedience fantastic and my laptop performance become much faster, i can enjoy my movies without the annoying pop up ads, thanks for this wonderful ublocker!!

This seem to be a long term scam attempt since the start lol people invest and keep inveting while price keeps depreciating lol team members are into scam adnetworks long before they discover cryptoscam.

Not sure if directly rewarding users is a good idea, our other extension was a bit too complicated I think and we want to avoid that this time. Adblockers are used by hundreds of millions of people and ours does the same as those with the added benefit for publishers.

It's about a conscious decision, people know that ad blockers kill the revenue of publishers but they still want to block ads. Our system gives them an "excuse" to block all ads because publishers will still get paid if they do using ADZbuzz uBlock. :)

Yeah that's because Adblockplus is selling advertisements as "accepted ads" into a secondary market.

Our concept is solely based around offering consumers a place to visit when they are ready to make a purchasing decision and have them find the products this way.

It's similar to how Google search operates but for products instead of content. :)

It definitely is  :)

The whitepaper explains it all thoroughly about the publisher part too. That's going to be the most interesting part when it all comes together

For the Adzbuzz Ublock, when the devs release the new version, does the old version automatically get updated to the new?

That's right, the ad blocker is a cool free tool that anybody in his right mind should install to be honest. It's free and nobody likes popups and videos playing automatically when they read news sites, which this tool blocks perfectly.

When it all comes together a system will be in place that has the power to completely transform the ad-supported web into a far superior business model.

It's only a matter of time before this actually happens and the launch is around the corner. :)

I have been using ABP and find ADZbuzz uBlock a much more efficient blocker. Also I've read through the white paper about the project and am very impressed with the thorough thinking behind it and all the benefits it provides on top of a superior browsing experience. Well done ADZbuzz team. Looking forward to all the future developments.

i installed it too for chrome and page load super fast nw. surfing web ad free is the way to go

@ajay sir why are u always wanting to earn money from everything ? ADZ ublock is not made to give people like you money. its clear goal is for blocking advertisements around the web so users like me and you can surf the web ad free. and this clearly provides that

it will help publishers recoup loss if you read whitepaper when all other features are ready for project

good job devs

Hi Everybody,

For the people that are waiting for the ADZbuzz uBlock Firefox extension, it's almost time for our review as you can see in this attachment. :)

http://adzcoindesk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/adzbuzz_ublock_firefox.png

Just 28 more apps to review for them and it's our turn!

We added the extension few days ago so as you can see it goes pretty fast as they already reviewed 300+ the last days.

Also Opera is up for review but for this browser we don't have stats.

Many people ask about mobile, and when our desktop extensions are all ready and up and running several of our developers will start working on:

-> Mobile apps for ADZbuzz (Android and IOS - Already started so continuing to finish)
-> Mobile adblocker
-> In-game ad blocker

The in-game adblocker will be a completely new feature offered nowhere else and is bound to cause some massive shockwaves across the adverising industry! :D

Anyways we're on schedule and more updates will follow shortly.

Have a great day,
Jens

I have used the Adzbuzz Ublock and I personally think its fantastic.
No ads and I find browsing is much faster, at least 25% in my opinion.

Its  a really good addition to the resources for improving the browsing experience.
Congratulations to the developers!

you can pump your coin all you want but none of the users in yobit ever will support it. it didn't even create a buzz even after naming your program as adbuzz lol Jenss, you're a losser. You and your team member had been scamming through the previous adnetworks you've created purposely to scam people.

Just ignore this troll not worth our time. Good to bump the thread though so we get more exposure and more people will install our adblocker as that's the purpose of this thread after all. :)

And it works flawlessly as all people pointed out!

Well we are currently under review in Firefox and Opera so these two browsers will soon be available. We have contacted IE because it seems they currently don't accept add-ons submissions but asked to add ours anyways so we need to wait for their reply.

As for mobile here's a quote from my earlier update:

"Many people ask about mobile, and when our desktop extensions are all ready and up and running several of our developers will start working on:

So yes when the desktop browser extensions are up and running we'll start with mobile. :)

Awesome! Yes I read the update but just never saw the mention of IE so I was just making sure there will be one for that too as it's quite popular and many of my family also use it :)

The mobile one is going to be the killer. I see you will release an adblocker for applications and games on mobiles. This is a huge market and by far the most needed. I'm sick of seeing advertisements when obviously playing a game here and there on my mobile and this is definitely needed. If you manage to release this, it will be huge

Good luck!

Been using adblock plus for years and it has worked for me well on perhaps 90% of sites. Why should someone like me try out this product, though? Tell me one additional benefit I'll gain from switching and I'll try it out=)

P.s. If you can get faucet owners to allow it while surfing their sites that would be a huge bonus. Most don't let you use ad block but if this product offers win win as you say, try get them on board.

Hello,

Ok sure let me explain. :)

-> First of all the features of Adblock plus and ADZbuzz uBlock are the same and both plugins are heavily supported by a dev team who will update as soon as some network makes changes, this to ensure all ads keep being blocked.

-> Secondly, ADZbuzz uBlock is just a small part of a much bigger project ADZbuzz which has the aim to create the "ad-supported web 2.0". For this we  are building several other features that are connected to ADZbuzz uBlock:

- ADZbuzz Savers: A pay per click shopping search engine where consumers go before making a purchasing decision. This will basically replace all ads which are now mingled within content plus tracking, making regular ads and dat-collecting and privacy invading middle-men unnecessary.
- ADZlink: Little script or WP plugin which publishers can install on their site which adds just 1 non-intrusive link to our shopping portal and replaces ALL ads on their site. The ADZlink detects ADZbuzz uBlock visitors and will pay publishers the same way as they get paid currently from ad networks, in ADZcoin our cryptocurrency.
- The ADZlink also allows publishers to share their content on ADZbuzz, our social network driving even more buzz to their content and a huge extra benefit for using the ADZlink.

So why would you use ADZbuzz uBlock instead of uBlock origin?

It's a conscious decision to either:

-> Use an adblocker that blocks ads and nothing else (uBlock origin)
-> Use an ad blocker that does exactly the same but actively supports publishers when you visit their site automatically (ADZbuzz uBlock)

I think only dark minds would keep on using uBlock origin if there's an alternative like ADZbuzz uBlock that actually rewards the sites that you visit. :)

About your question, if Faucet owners add the ADZlink to their site then they will earn from it just like any other publisher so that will indeed be a solution and a section of business owners we can offer our solution to.

Hope that helps!
Jens

Hi Everybody,

Well as you could read in the whitepaper of ADZbuzz uBlock (here: https://ublock.adzbuzz.com ), publishers will be rewarded in ADZcoin using the revenue from a pay per click shopping search engine.

In the latest update on ADZbuzz you can get a preview of how this shopping search engine will look like, check it out here:

Thanks OP for taking the time with this detailed explanation - it's a good sign of the seriousness behind it and this certainly will lead me to trying out the extension. The main idea I like is that is addresses the situation of site owners who need advertising income to run their website.

My sympathies are with them: they want to help spread bitcoin in a small way (many people including myself got our very first satoshi from faucets) but cannot do so without ads. At the same time, it's very troublesome (and even harmful) to visit faucets without adblock... just for a few satoshi. I know it's a niche, and a small one, but faucets are very important to bitcoin to me. And they are in a sad state now - you can see new faucets dying very quickly as advertisers also slowly stop accepting faucet site traffic.

If you can find a way to work with them, we could see faucets getting a new lease of life. Good luck!

Yeah you are right and I totally agree, if faucets will use the ADZlink which replaces current ads which are honestly annoying and ineffective, they can easily add an extra income stream to their site.

2 ways:

-> They will earn daily ADZ from their traffic (just like regular advertising)
-> They will earn daily ADZ from the referrals by promoting this page: https://ublock.adzbuzz.com/promo/

I'm 100% sure that they will earn more from the ADZ system than from regular ads in the long run (since they will earn passively from their affiliates). :)

I'll make sure to contact faucet owners with this tip once our completed system is ready to be deployed.

Good to hear all of this Jens! Already one of the biggest owners at faucetbox has announced closure and all the new independent faucets I followed this year closed shop within 2 months.

I will try to spread the word in my own limited network. Good luck!

Great article on cointelegraph. I certainly wish this project the success that past attempts have not found. There has to be a good solution to this very old problem of advertising and revenue... I see healthy signs in this project.

Will bookmark and perhaps curate on local sites.

Hi Everybody,

If you wonder how we will reach our objectives of:

-> ADZbuzz uBlock Downloads: 5 Million+
-> ADZbuzz Members: 1 Million+
-> ADZbuzz Merchants: 10K+
-> ADZbuzz Savers Daily Clicks: 100K+
-> ADZbuzz Partner Publishers: 20K+

Before the countdown timer here ends: https://adzbuzz.com/timeline-updates.html ...

...Then I would like to refer you to the latest update which was me brainstorming a bit on how to make ADZbuzz go viral.

Not only that, how can we engage people on ADZbuzz more and give people who put in some effort more rewards?

Here you can find the answer:

>>> https://adzbuzz.com/story/1449397

Launch of this will be together with the ADZlink in just a couple of weeks so stay tuned!

Have a great day and advanced Merry Christmas!

This is a very good extension I would love to try this on,but does it also offer rewards to it's users,like what Mass Network extension is about to do,I hope you can offer an incentives,there are a lot of unblockers in the market but if you can offer something that rewards users,you will have an edge from your competitors.

How are we actually sure that this Adblock is not actually doing the oposite of what they promise, as anybody audit their code yet

You can go ahead here: https://github.com/ADZbuzz/uBlock

Also there's no reason to assume we would be doing something differently than any other ad blocker that merely blocks ads and trackers (unlike Adblockplus for instance that lets many ads through). The main feature is the ADZlink, which replaces all ads with just one non-intrusive icon on a site and that will pay publishers the same way as they earn from regular ads.

Revenue will come from a centralized shopping portal (mainly as there are some other revenue sources) where consumers can go before they are ready to make a purchasing decision. This effectively removes the need for advertisers to annoy people when they consume content (=where they don't care), but still gives them a channel to promote their business.

Let me put it this way, this concept has been though about very carefully and is the only solution to this billion dollar problem for all parties. :)

Yes the moment we launch the revenue distribution for publishers we will reward people who promote ADZbuzz uBlock and ADZbuzz. This will be about 20% of total earnings of the company and will be based on amount of active referrals you have. You can already find your promo page on ADZbuzz in this page: https://adzbuzz.com/settings/affiliates . Referrals are tied to your account forever so this can turn into a lifelong passive income if you manage to promote our project. :)

We'll also offer bounties for people managing the communities on ADZbuzz. We want to create communities around sites instead of around topics like you have in Reddit for instance. This will also be discussed in more detail the moment we launch this feature which will take a couple more weeks of development.

Yeah with ADZbuzz uBlock you won't see popups anymore they will close by themselves, so even though I haven't used what you are mentioning i'm pretty sure it works the same. ADZbuzz uBlock will also block all other ads including video ads in Youtube for instance or regular banners.
