I read actually a nice article about the PROOF of WORK.
Why no one creates a DDOS Coin? The Miners might be the people who are part of the DDOS and be refunded for this
with Coins. The Site which gets DDOSED Could be for example voted by the community. Someone who wanted to do a ddos
could pay some coins to let it voting. If the Voting got more than 50% than the site will be ddosed.

The Article I read was really interesting, but now i dont find such a coin.

I have never encounter a ddos coin and I don't think there is one existing now,but I don't want to have a coin like that,in my opinion ddos is bad I am a website operator and having a site that's target of ddos is very alarming and can cost you money,why would you do harm to a site ..

For the Homepages it is absolutely shit. It was just a question why no one has build such a coin untill now because i read the article. I also think it is not good such a coin.

Actually,you look like you are suggesting there should be one,and surprise that there is none,you are suggesting that it is profitable because you post some quote from the article,I will not be surprise if you hire a dev to create a coin like this or open an ICO  :D

Yeah if you start a thread asking then you will have someone offer you their service. Not sure how much they charge and not sure I'd like to fuck with game though.

DDOS name is bad, i am sure the people who know about it will don't believe in it, although the coin actually is good coin, good aim, unique coin or other fungtion.
But the people will think it is scam coin, criminal or something bad other in internet.
It is because of bad name DDOS coin.
More good the name be changed by securityIT coin will gives nice image of coin.

Truth be told, we have enough of shitcoins and why add more shitcoins and waste time? And I don't think DDOS ing websites is good. It just a bunch of jobless and sadist people who DDOS websites to waste time and efforts and to make life hard for other people.

DDOS is illegal. It is an interesting concept, but a terrible idea. As a person who owns a website, DDOSing is a constant threat that lurks on my shoulder, and I would hate to have an incentive to join a DDos attack.

Oh and what ? Half the scammy fraud that goes on in Crypto is NOT illegal ?

You realize Ripple was fined by Fincen right ?
You realize the 2 Florida LocalBitcoins users were arrested in a parking lot for selling Bitcoin right ?
You do realize not claiming your Crypto currency "ROI's" is illegal according to the tax-man right ?

There was a ddos protection coin once. Which Is a cool idea of someone could get the economics to work

I think this is far more better then harming someone's machine,anything that can give or bring benefits and protections to users are ok with the community,but you have not posted the link to the site or the announcement thread so we can see if it still possible to revive the coin.

You also have to think of the fees when orchestrating a ddos attack. The reason I bring it up is that the only people with the ability to pay miners for ddosing a site are corporations and states. So basically you would be facilitating anonymous corporate espionage and censorship. You would be giving an incentive to corporate greed and censorship which is the exact opposite of what the crypto community wants.

A strong cyberwar system for the people would be amazing but it is hard to keep control over it and you are creating a system that would compete against states in defense(or offense in this case), which the crypto community cannot naturally fight and could lead to a witch hunt within the community.

What do you mean by DDOS coin and what is cool about that,when ever someone DDOS you will get a damn coin  :o These stupids must the caught and land them jail time for disrupting the services rather than lauding them for the inconvenience caused by them.

The idea is very good. I can pay for DDoS the site of scamers and other sites who trying to scam. In the moment of DDos we can prevent other people to be scamed. What you think?

Yep, anyone creating such a coin equals to declaring war to the whole internet.

Yeah it can be done but it can be used to illegal purposes like ddos a bank or hostage a site and ask for payment the word ddos is very much associated to illegal activity and if you are known to be a supporter of that coin you will risk your reputation.
