Yes it's a virus.  Scumbag deleted my posts in the other thread for alerting people.  No source and the line "Ninja-release, in wallet mining available. Zero premine." was a dead giveaway.

I don't know how often they monitor it but I used the "Report to moderator" link for that thread since it's obvious that the thread was created just to infect peoples computers with a Trojan.

What do you recommend I do to get rid of the virus?

First get all your coins off your wallets & exchanges as accounts are most likely compromised, then send them all to a fresh cold storage wallet.

Save that wallet to usb, or if its blockchain, remember the seed.

Then scan PC for malware using Avira, wipe all malware, and you should be good to go!  :)

run malware bytes and remove it in normal mode, then reboot in safe mode and run malware bytes again.

After that reboot and run malwarebytes one more time, if the virus is still there then you'll probably need to reformat your hard drive and re-install windoze.

Shut your computer off immediately.  Use another computer to create a bootable USB with the tools on it to clean your computer.  Boot to that USB.  Do what you can.  Restart your computer without internet access.  Backup your data.  Format and reinstall your OS.  Restore your data.  Scan restored data with multiple antivirus tools.
