Title: SHA256 low power mining (Any advices)
Post by: ftm_Sap on December 16, 2016, 01:04:31 PM
Hello crypto-community!

I have a 10 block erupters ASIC's (total power 3.5Ghs, SHA256) and a free electricity, so maybe someone could take any advice what to mine?
Of course I can make them gorgeous trinkets  ;D, but I prefer to try to get some profit..)

Throw them into the garbage and buy some cheaper Antminer S5 or S7 or some second hand GPUs.

instead i would take one gladly for some own project ;)

also there are new coins emerging daily using sha256 as algorithm, you just have to be lucky to find a good one (that holds worth) and mine early when only few or none mine

The Antminer ASICs are the ones that are the best, definitely. Take the one that has the best ratio Th/s/price and pick this one. However I'd recommend you to buy them using fiat money so that way you're ASIC will always break even due to the price of Bitcoin to rise in the years to come.

It doesn't matter what the diff is. Your profitability will be EXACTLY the same.

People with S9's can mine coins with low diff also.
