Title: bitcoin time Post by: duckfeet on June 15, 2011, 06:02:14 AM I've been reading up, and I bought one bitcoin, and it took an hr or so to download...and the next batch I bought, is taking just as long...does it ever get faster?

It's called the blockchain. Anyways, transactions can take anywhere from 30seconds to 2 days. Would greatly depend on how many connections you and your seller have.
