Title: bitcoin time
Post by: duckfeet on June 15, 2011, 06:02:14 AM
I've been reading up, and I bought one bitcoin, and it took an hr or so to download...and the next batch I bought, is taking just as long...does it ever get faster?

It's the first time I hear that it took so long.
Maybe you didn't have the transaction log downloaded yet.

Aww, don't be so mean to the fellow.

Anyways, transactions can take anywhere from 30seconds to 2 days.
Would greatly depend on how many connections you and your seller have.

I run on about an average of 25-50 connections.

Oh, sorry, I just read it again and it did sound a bit harsh. Not intended! :)

Don't worry.
I hope the transaction did go through in the end and is now part of the blockchain. ;-)
